Full accommodation information

A tiny piece of heaven, fringed by picture-perfect white sand beaches, Voavah Private Island is the world’s first exclusive-use isle in a UNESCO-protected reserve.

Just a short hop from the Four Seasons Resort at Landaa Giraavaru, this truly exceptional seven-bedroom island is coupled with the exemplary service you would expect from Four Seasons: a PADI five-star dive centre; serene swimming pools; a luxury spa; and a beach house with lounge, dining room and gym. To top it all, the island comes with its very own luxury 62-foot yacht for exploring the exquisite surrounding reefs and atolls.

Thanks to its complete privacy and security, Voavah is a superb choice for an ultra-exclusive getaway; whether for a corporate retreat, bespoke wedding or very special celebration for up to 22 guests.

Incredible marine diversity ensures that exploring the crystal clear waters surrounding the island is an outstanding experience for every guest, with manta ray excursions available during much of the year. Days sailing on Voavah Summer – the island’s private luxury yacht – can be spent exploring the region, before relaxing with a sundowner to watch the breath-taking Baa Atoll sunset.

Accommodation is sublime, with each option offering its guests seclusion and indulgence. Just steps from the beach, the Three Bedroom Beach Villa has a vast sunbathing pool, al fresco living room and master suite with ocean views and a separate study or children’s room. Two further bedrooms are housed in their own pavilions. A Two Bedroom Water Villa is set on stilts over the lagoon with a sunset pool and steps leading into the reef below. Finally, the Mezzanine Suites offer the most elevated position on the island, with each featuring an outdoor sea-view shower and panoramic balcony.

Four Seasons Private Island Maldives at Voavah is an exemplary choice for your luxury Maldives holiday.

You stay includes the following:

  • Personal dining options either in the Beach House or around the island.
  • Private beaches plus several pools.
  • Spa and hair salon services.
  • Gym, yoga, meditation and pranayama.
  • Dive centre, snorkelling, fishing, surfing, kite surfing, parasailing, X-Jetblades, wakeboarding, jet-skiing and windsurfing.
  • Exclusive use of Voavah Summer private yacht.

  • Bespoke children’s activities.
  • Full access to all facilities at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru (20-minute speedboat ride away).

With commitments to preserving and regenerating the environment, Four Seasons Private Island Voavah aims to leave a positive, enduring impact on the planet. The Baa Atoll became recognised as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2011, and the resort puts into place several sustainability initiatives to preserve it. For culture, Voavah supports the employment of local Boduberu bands to promote cultural dance and has formed a cooperative with Fulhadhoo to produce coral frames for its Reefscapers project. In addition, your stay includes access to four interactive ocean conservation initiatives led by 15 marine biologists: Coral Reefscaping, Turtle Rehabilitation, Manta Ray Research and Fish Breeding.
