To coincide with their beliefs, many sustainable initiatives have been put in place to ensure the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve remains in perfect condition for years to come. Guests have the option to donate a dollar per night during their stay to go towards the protection of marine and coastal environments – and you can even sign up for an Elements Dive and Watersports Centre programme to join the reef cleaning efforts. In addition, there are several lush gardens such as the Nala Orchid Garden and Organic Garden that contribute to the island’s green space.
