Client Services Executive

I get just as much joy and excitement from planning a holiday as I do from visiting a destination myself.

About me

I’ve always had a passion for travel. I love researching and putting together an extensive itinerary, and I get a great deal of satisfaction in helping others.

Combining this with my love for travel, I started my travel career when I because a flight attendant for Caledonian Airways, where I travelled to Kenya, Jordan, India, Florida, Canada, New York, and the Caribbean Islands of Barbados: Antigua, Grenada, and St. Lucia. In 2000, I joined Air New Zealand and worked my way up to become an Inflight Service Co-Ordinator/Manager, feeling proud to be part of an award-winning airline. I travelled to Los Angeles once a week for 20 years, and Hong Kong for six.

Now, working for Inspiring Travel, I enjoy being part of an amazing team, where I am fortunate enough to live my passion for travel daily.

Stand-out client experiences

I’ll never forget arranging a couple’s private dinner on the beach as a surprise. The couple were married during Covid-19 and couldn’t have their dream wedding. After liaising with the One&Only resort in Mauritius, the staff set up a beautiful romantic private dining experience with candles set up as a pathway to their table set up under a canopy of lights. Whist in conversation with the clients, I was able to ascertain their preference of wine, which was presented to them in their room along with a congratulations card from Inspiring Travel.

My most memorable travel experience

After 20 years of visiting California, I’ve found that there is still so much to see and do, and every experience is one to remember. There is something for everyone to experience, from the sun-kissed beaches, theme parks, lakes, mountains, and wineries, and I remember it all. More specifically, I won’t forget seeing the Temecula Wine Country from a hot air balloon, whale-watching from Newport Beach, and an attempt at skiing at Big Bear Lake. Taking the Pacific Coast Highway from North to South was one of the most scenic drives I’ve ever taken, and I’ve never been in awe like at Sequoia National Park.

I will also never forget my first layover in Bahrain. I felt my senses were awakened in the hustle and bustle of the local souk under an incredible sunset, smelt the incense, heard the calls to prayer, and tasted the traditional dishes – a truly unforgettable experience.
