I have been lucky enough to work in the travel industry for over 20 years now, starting with my backpacker days in Australia, where I worked as a limo driver, taking clients to and from the airport.

Following that experience – and full of passion for all things travel – I started working as a Travel Specialist for Flight Centre in Chester, where I specialised in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, curating amazing holidays for clients to these destinations. I progressed to Manager there, and eventually, acquired various Regional Operations Manager roles at Flight Centre over the years.

About two years ago, I joined the amazing team at ITC as Head of Sales and Service, looking after the company’s luxury brands.

My passion for travel continues to grow and grow, and I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some extraordinary places and experience our ultra-exclusive portfolio first-hand – I’ll never tire of it!

From my early days curating bespoke itineraries as a Travel Specialist, to now overseeing the luxury brands at ITC, where the teams do an incredible job of personalising out-of-this-world holidays for our clients – I have the same passion for service, our customers and our destinations as I did back when I first started out. It really is the best job in the world!

Favourite places

I have so many I could list, but a real surprising one for me was Croatia – what a special place! I sailed round the islands a few years ago and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. It’s such a beautiful country; every island has something different to offer and you can just spend your days sailing the calm seas, eating fresh fish, and mixing with the locals on the islands in the evenings. It’s a top pick for any food and culture lovers out there!

Favourite hotel

Jade Mountain in St Lucia. It’s more of an experience than a hotel; the rooms are like sanctuaries, and I have never been as relaxed in my life as I was while staying here. I highly recommend it – even if it’s just for a few nights to experience sleeping in an open room. Paradise!
