Situated on a private peninsula surrounded by a marine park in the unspoilt south-eastern region of the island, this hotel is the first choice when it comes to deluxe all inclusive in Mauritius.
The rooms are chic and spacious with neutral colours and plenty of natural light. Many are beachfront and additional suites and two bedroom Family Apartments are perfect for larger families and friends travelling together.
The wonderful host of activities here include water sports galore, from windsurfing and scuba diving to Hobie cats and Laser sailing.
Land sports include mountain bikes, a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course and nature walks, as well as classes in everything from tennis to cardio training. Children are kept busy too at the friendly Shandrani Kids Club.
With five restaurants and two bars, there is an abundance of dining choice, and quality is never compromised. Guests are also spoilt for choice with two spas affiliated to the prestigious Clarins brand.

Senior Suite

Senior Suites are split-level 110sqm with large bedroom area, lounge area with wooden floor and Nespresso machine, and the suites have direct access to the beach. Ideal for honeymoon couples.
Family Suite
Sleeps: 2 Adults , 3 Children
Family Suites are 206sqm located between two of the beaches with direct beach access, private secure garden with kids' sand pit, the Suite is spread over two floors with kids' bedroom and bathroom upstairs, a large living area and master suite downstairs, large round bathtubs and reserved beach area with parasol.
Deluxe Room
Sleeps: 2 Adults , 2 Children
Deluxe Rooms are larger in size at 60sqm with a large sitting area, also with a large separate bathroom and walk-in wardrobe/dressing area. These rooms are located at the far end of the resort, on the ground, first or second floor and are seafacing. Rooms sleep 2 adults and 2 child or 3 adults. A Supplement can be applied for Ground Floor.
Superior Room
Sleeps: 2 Adults , 1 Child
Superior rooms are 50sqm split level, with a step up to the bathroom and down to the bedroom/ lounge area and would not be suitable for mobility challenged guests. Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Shandrani believes in protecting the planet and striving for a reduction in carbon emissions with 52 commitments. Their commitment to sustainability includes a promotion of employability for 300 youths in their hotels each year. 3,500 people have benefitted from this commitment so far. Plus, the resort is working towards an inclusion of small, local producers to assist in their food process.
To contribute to a cleaner, safer and more sustainable environment, the resort also has in place a green team committee. As well as training their staff on marine and reef conservation, the guests are also aware of their efforts to encourage engagement in cultural activities and their environmental initiatives.
Water efficiency is practiced in Shandrani, using nearly 100% recycled wastewater for irrigation purposes. Favouring rainwater for harvesting systems and reduction of wastewater through automatic sensor faucets in all Artisan zones are just an insight to the efforts put into this commitment.
