Elegant in style, the hotel comprises 116 suites, villas and residences, with interiors designed by Kelly Hoppen to feel like a home-from-home in the tropics. Set just a stroll from the beachfront, you can wander down to hotel’s exclusive beach club, Beach Rouge, where you can grab some lunch, settle in with a sundowner or stay all evening as the DJ plays into the night.
For dining, there're a number of exciting options to choose from. A highlight is Bisou, which boasts a stunning rooftop location with views over the lagoon. During the day, you can lounge in a cabana by the infinity pool, while in evening you can sample an array of flavours through the international tapas offering.
If you’re a spa and wellness devotee, there’s plenty to keep you happy. The resort boasts the Indian Ocean’s first outdoor rooftop wellness experience, with two 30m Olympic standard running tracks and 12 workout stations, along with spa treatments, hydrothermal baths, beauty services and sunrise beach yoga.

There’s plenty for all ages to enjoy at LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences. The kids’ club, PLAY, is available for ages 3 to 11 years, with a range of age-appropriate activities that are both fun and help little ones learn new things. The indoor space is perfect for reading books from the library or trying out the mini kitchen, while outside there’s a vegetable garden to explore. A weekly programme of activities provides numerous activities, such as gardening, storytelling, junior yoga and much more.
For teens aged 12 to 17 years, Studio 17 offers a chill-out zone, vintage arcade games, PS5 stations and game tables, plus a movie pod. There’s also a host of complimentary watersports for them to try, such as windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and stand-up paddle boarding.
Spa & Wellness
The spa and wellness facilities at LUX* Grand Baie Resort & Residences are truly extensive. The spa covers three floors, with seven treatment rooms offering cutting edge equipment, including specialised beds for spinal alignment, sinus pressure comfort and acupressure therapies. You can also take a hydrothermal bath journey with a Turkish hammam, ice rocks and heated benches, hot and cold therapeutic footbaths, aromatherapy steam room and sauna and an experience shower.
On the rooftop, there’s a host of fitness facilities. Along with running tracks, you’ll find a group cycling studio and 12 workout stations, with private and small group fitness sessions held. In Niyama Studio, you can join mat-based Pilates workouts, or enjoy yoga, meditation and restorative stretching. Head down to the wellness lounge and juice bar when you’re ready to cool down with some refreshments.
