Island-hopping in the South Pacific is one of the ultimate travel adventures, and this particular tour does it in real style, staying in some of the region’s finest boutique hotels and with no shortage of intimate experiences along the way too.

From romantic BBQ’s on the beach to heavenly spas, ethereal island views and some of the South Pacific Island’s best luxury properties, this 11-day tour has it all. It starts in Tahiti, where time can be spent discovering the cultural side of island life while also enjoying the supreme comforts of InterContinental Resort Tahiti, your home for 2 nights. Next up is Moorea, and the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa where days disappear into a dream of wellness therapies, sea views and the most spectacular island backdrop too. There’s also plenty to do here both onsite and around the island, before a final stop at Conrad Bora Bora, a remarkable South Pacific resort that will leave you totally entranced by the time you leave.

Itinerary

Tahiti, French Polynesia
Upon arrival in Tahiti, a guide and vehicle will be waiting at the airport for transfers straight to your hotel. Check-in, and spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying these heavenly surrounds. Overnight in the Hilton Resort Tahiti
Having suitably settled in to life in Tahiti, it’s time to get a taste of the island’s culture, history and heritage today, with an authentic Tahiti tour along its western coast. After breakfast then, set off in the company of your local guide and visit various Tahiti points of interest such as the ancient Marae Arahurahu Temple (still used for ceremonies to this day), the Taharuu River and Black Sand Beach, Vaipahi Botanic Garden and a scented Monoï oil factory. Along the way, there will be stops at family homes for coffee, lunch-with-a-view in a rustic restaurant overlooking a lagoon and plenty else besides, on this full-day Tahiti tour. Overnight in the Hilton Resort Tahiti
Moorea, French Polynesia
Your first Pacific island hop comes on day three, as you make way for Moorea, an iconic French Polynesian enclave of azure seas, sheltered bays and verdant mountains as your backdrop. It’s a short ferry crossing from Pape'ete, and on arrival, your destination is the magnificent Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa, where a luxe lagoon-style swimming pool and spa, plus three restaurants, three bars, and a host of activities await. We recommend adding a guided sea scooter snorkel tour to discover Moorea Lagoon's underwater world.
Moorea, French Polynesia
The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa is primed for either absolute indulgence in the wellness centre, pool, and on the beach, or keeping active with some of the hotel’s abundant sports facilities; the choice will be yours on day four of this South Pacific Island-hopping trip Maybe add an optional tour such as a Moorea Food Adventure.
Moorea, French Polynesia
Discover the hidden world of Moorea Island’s tree-lined beaches, hilltop trails and waterfalls with an exciting 4WD tour today, for a fun-filled alternative to the serene living being enjoyed at your resort.
Moorea, French Polynesia
Today can be spent either making the most of the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa onsite facilities, watersports and restaurants, beach and nearby walking trails, or perhaps by booking an additional day trip, island excursion or boat tour, depending on how the mood takes you.
Day 8 of your Pacific Island-hopping tour takes you to Bora Bora (courtesy of a short flight), and the Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort, a timeless boutique retreat that enjoys enviable Pacific Ocean sunsets from its privileged beachfront perch.
As soon as you spend any time at the irresistible Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort, it really won’t be long until the finer things in life soon take over. Quite rightly then, day 9 of your South Pacific Island-hopping tour is left completely at leisure to admire the natural beauty of this island, its surrounding cerulean seas, and of course the resort itself.
South Pacific island escapes don’t get much more romantic than today, which sees you take to the waves aboard an intimate vessel in search of hidden coves and reefs, tropical fish and a quiet spot on the bay for an intimate BBQ lunch.
There are plenty of optional tours to fill your final day at Conrad Bora Bora Nui Resort, from sightseeing helicopter flights to boat trips, sailing and coastal cruises, watersports and island excursions into the hills. Or, you may prefer one last spa treatment or massage, long gourmet lunch and afternoon spent admiring the views from your sunken sun lounger; whatever you decide, there are no second-rate options here.
Depending on the time of your flight, a boat will be ready and waiting at your hotel for airport transfers to Bora Bora airport, and your onward flight home from Tahiti International.
