Full accommodation information

The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is a luxury French Polynesian hotel that has a little bit of everything, for just about everybody.

This is undoubtedly among the best-equipped five-star South Pacific resorts, boasting four restaurants and bars (plus private beachfront options), a top spa and beauty salon, boutique outlets and souvenir shops, tennis courts, a gym and lovely lagoon-style swimming pool surrounded by loungers, facing the sea.

It doesn’t stop there, however, as Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort also has its own dive school, meaning that scuba, snorkelling, paddle-boarding and all kinds of water sports are always high on the agenda here too – and what better location to learn in if it’s your first time scouring the seabed?

Then there’s the nearby Green Pearl Golf Course Moorea and plenty of day trips to enjoy, from boat tours to horse riding trails or fun-filled ATV photo safaris for anyone looking for a bit of South Pacific adventure.

Yet, for all of the outdoor sports, cultural classes and excursions available at Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa, this is also a place of pure relaxation too, of course.

The hotel itself is backed by verdant mountains on one side, and crystalline seas on the other – with gold-sand beaches perfectly sandwiched in between, while many of the restaurants and bar areas adopt the most spectacular settings for great sunsets each evening, particularly the Toatea Creperie and Bar which is perched above sea and has regular marine life visitors below.

So, with its luxe overwater and thatched beachfront cabins, those delectable restaurants and cocktail bars, soothing spa treatments on the bay and semi-natural gardens connecting it all – on top of all those South Pacific activities – the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa certainly ticks the boxes.

All guestrooms and suites at Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa are nice and spacious, with generous floorplans able to comfortably house a king-size bed, separate rain shower and standalone bathtub, plus plenty of mod-cons such as large TVs, Wi-Fi and an iPod dock. All also enjoy a gorgeous furnished terrace and either garden or beachfront locations – as well as luxe overwater options that include glass panels in the floor – and the superior categories also come with a private pool. When it comes to décor, Hilton Moorea’s thatched casitas offer a nice mix of contemporary design in the bathrooms, with more traditional elements and artworks within the main space, which works well.

The Lagoon-view Bungalow is perfectly placed on the edge of the beach, meaning picturesque sea views and direct access to the water from your terrace.

Enjoy over 1,700sq ft of space in this sprawling Garden Suite with a private pool, separate living room, terrace and twin vanity bathroom.
Overwater Bungalow

Overwater Bungalow

The Overwater Bungalows at Hilton Moorea Resort are slightly smaller than some of their garden or beachfront alternatives (665sq ft), but more than make up for that with their unique location, glass panels in the floor, sea-view terraces and steps down to the water itself. Some are further out along the pontoon so benefit from even better views, particularly those at the end which are classed as Premium Panoramic View Overwater Bungalows for good reason!

The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa is known for its abundance of facilities and extras, though things certainly don’t feel overcrowded here. Your concierge can arrange everything from babysitting to boat hire, while onsite you’ll find a wonderful spa, beauty salon, florist and boutique outlets, as well as a lagoon-style swimming pool, tennis courts and a small but well-equipped gym – plus everything you need for watersports, fitness classes and beach games.

  • Dinner

As idyllic as the setting is at Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort, there’s plenty to do during the day on top of all that relaxation and admiring the view. Around the grounds you can enjoy all kinds of classes such as yoga or Polynesian palm weaving, as well as scuba diving and snorkelling, jet-ski and paddle-boarding or taking a sea kayak out into the water. The 18-hole Green Pearl Golf Course Moorea is also nearby and other day trips can include cycling tours, boat trips, 4x4 or ATV photo safaris, horse riding and hiking trails. Then back at the hotel, there are also themed evenings, live DJs and jazz plus traditional dance performances to look forward to.
