Hotel information
The Conrad Bora Bora is the kind of place where, when the mood calls, all you want to do is simply sit back, take a deep breath and admire the view.
Of the many reasons for this, one is the resort’s heavenly location, tucked away as it is on the southern shores of a private French Polynesian island, Motu To’opua – though only a 20-minute boat ride from Bora Bora – and with nothing but azure seas, a long sandy beach and a lush coastal backdrop for company.
Indeed, the Conrad Bora Bora Nui has made every effort to ensure that none of this splendid setting is missed throughout the day, with every on-land or overwater residence enjoying views of either the hotel’s tropical gardens, beach or the lagoon itself from their private furnished terraces.
And if you are opting for one of those luxe overwater villas, even your gourmet room service and chilled wine will be delivered via a concierge canoe, a particularly lovely touch. That level of service sets the tone for what to expect here, as the fine dining cuisine and cocktails – in each of six restaurants and bars – watersports and sailing facilities, kids club, sports courts and spa are also second to none.
You can easily explore the ubiquitous waters or islands while staying at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui too, and the resort is also keen on cultural demonstrations, dance performances and cookery classes to give their guests a fun introduction to French Polynesian culture.
And when you do retire to your five-star South Pacific quarters each evening, every guestroom, suite and villa here is a veritable haven of thatch and polished wood, cooling drapes wrapped around your four-poster bed, all conceivable mod-cons and much larger floorplans than most.
Room Options
Choose between either garden, beach or overwater views from each of the Conrad Bora Bora’s 114 suites and villas. All options here come with the same standard of finish and equally alluring décor schemes which, although very high-end, suits the resort’s natural coastal setting perfectly. There certainly are differences between the categories, mainly the view (due to their location) and size, with some overwater villas benefitting from instant ocean access and terraces hovering above the sea, though a slightly more modest floorplan compared with their garden or beachfront equivalents. The higher-category luxury options go on to feature swimming pools and multiple bedrooms, though all rooms at Conrad Bora Bora come with a furnished terrace, spa bathtub and separate rain shower, king-size bed, lounge area, sound system, hammock and plentiful amenities as standard.
