Tanzania is full of amazing sights, fantastic nature and incredible wildlife. Experience some of the many highlights of this country on our tour which travels through the Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater to deliver unforgettable views and iconic experiences. At each stop you will stay in ultimate comfort at three &Beyond properties – you’ll be able to take full advantage of the luxurious accommodation and top-class amenities after full days of exploring!

Itinerary

Board your Heathrow flight bound for Tanzania via Nairobi.
Spend three days exploring the famous Serengeti National Park. A light aircraft flight from Arusha Airport will transfer you to the park. Check-in to Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp, your accommodation for the next three nights.
Your stay at the Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp includes all meals as well as morning and afternoon game drives. On these drives you will explore the vast expanse of the park, accompanied by experienced guides.
This is one of the world’s most famous wildlife areas, and with good reason. The park stretches over more than a million hectares, and plays host to the famous Great Migration every year. Wildlife viewing is excellent here, with buffalo, antelope, giraffe, lions, leopards and cheetahs just some of the species that call the Serengeti home.
This morning you will depart for the Lake Manyara National Park via light aircraft flight. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your accommodation for the next two nights, Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. Your stay includes meals as well as twice-daily game drives – morning and afternoon. There is also the chance to get a different perspective on a night game drive, or even to take a picnic lunch in the park.
One of Tanzania’s smaller parks, Lake Manyara National Park is one of the more scenic. Home to 11 different ecosystems, here you’ll find the alkaline lake, typically-African savannahs, dense marshes and verdant forest. While here you’ll be able to take in the park’s stunning scenery, including the eponymous lake which is often edged by bright pink groups of flamingos. Make sure to have a good look at the acacia trees as you pass by – the park’s lions are famous for scaling the branches!
Today you will be transferred by road to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Your stay here will be at the &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, which offers jaw-dropping views over the caldera and out across the crater’s floor.
As part of your stay you will enjoy a full-day drive across the crater, with a picnic lunch to enjoy surrounded by the staggering rocky landscape. This is also one of the best places in Africa to see the ‘Big Five’ safari animals, along with a vast collection of other African wildlife.
Today make your way back to the airport for your flight back to the UK. Alternatively, our Travel Specialists can create an extended itinerary for you if you’d like to experience more. Explore more of Tanzania, or combine this tour with another destination for a multi-centre holiday.
