Island-hop your way through Hawaii, soaking up the distinctive beauty of Oahu, Lanai, Maui and Hawaii’s Big Island in one thrilling twelve-day trip.

Your tour begins on the island of Oahu, an inspiring backdrop for adventure. After relaxing and recharging by the beach in luxury Four Seasons style, take to the skies on a helicopter tour that flies you past the island’s many must-see attractions including Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head and Kaneohe Bay.

Lanai, Hawaii’s secluded ‘pineapple island’ has a very peaceful, intimate feel, almost like a private island escape. A luxury oceanfront retreat overlooking Hulopoe Bay awaits, your gateway to the most scenic spots and diverse landscapes. Saddle up and ride into the upland trails and witness the dramatic red lava cliffs and sprawling beaches whilst sailing the coastline at sunset, perhaps even surrounded by spinner dolphins. Then it’s on to Maui for more unforgettable, bucket-list experiences. From whale-watching in the waters of Wailea to peeking into the dormant crater of Haleakala Volcano, it’s all about natural beauty and outdoor fun on ‘The Valley Isle’.

Your journey will finish in Hawaii with a mix of thrills and relaxation. Fly into the steamy sky above Mauna Loa, one of the world’s most active volcanoes and drive along the scenic south coast to the Volcanoes National Park, before relaxing on the white sand beaches before your flight home.

Itinerary

Depart from the UK and fly into Honolulu on the island of Oahu, where you’ll be met and transferred by private car to your hotel. Set on Oahu’s sunset west coast, this Four Seasons hotel allows you to take in some of the island’s most coveted beachfront surroundings in the lap of luxury with impeccable world-class amenities.
You may wish to make the most of the hotel, spending the day enjoying the four pools, spa, top-ranked golf course and other resort amenities, or get out and explore the island’s attractions. Oahu is the third-largest Hawaiian Island and offers a vast array of adventures. Discover the island on a full day private guided tour, taking to the skies by helicopter for a bird’s eye view, or snorkelling off the north shore.
No trip to Oahu is complete without a visit to Pearl Harbor, where WII began for the USA on 7 December 1941. Choose a group tour or Private VIP Access Tour, where highlights include the USS Bowfin Submarine, USS Missouri Battleship, and the Pacific Aviation Museum. Back at the resort, enjoy a round of golf, a ‘Spa Under the Stars’ experience or charter the resort’s luxury yacht for a sailing adventure.
Lanai
Take the short flight to Lanai, Hawaii’s smallest and least-developed island. Your home for the next three nights is the ultra-luxury Four Seasons Resort Lanai. Spend your days lounging by the lagoon-style pools, explore the beautiful botanical gardens and indulge in signature body treatments at the Hawanawana Spa.
Lanai
Golf enthusiasts will love the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at Four Seasons Resort Lanai. The resort also offers a list of complimentary activities including guided tours of the botanical gardens, Hawaiian craft-making, yoga classes, a tennis open-house session and movie passes to the Hale Keaka Lana’i Theatre in Lanai city. Unique culinary experiences comprise private cooking classes, picnics and romantic dining under the stars.
Lanai
Enjoy a bird’s eye view of Lanai and its neighbouring islands on a helicopter adventure. Sail on board a catamaran to spot spinner dolphins and humpback whales, or dive into the underwater world on a snorkel or scuba-dive trip. On land, traverse the wild, rugged beauty along the hiking and biking trails, on a 4X4 off-road adventure, or horse ride across the Koele hills.
Another day, another island. ‘The Valley Isle’ is home to the sacred Iao Valley, world-famous beaches and magnificent sunrises from Haleakala, a dormant volcano in Haleakala National Park. Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea makes the most of its setting with many areas framing the beautiful tropical views. Enjoy a dip in one of the three saltwater pools, be pampered at the spa or get in another round of golf.
The island of Maui is incredibly scenic with lush valleys, forest clad sea cliffs and volcanic landscapes. The island can be explored from the water, on land or by air. Private yacht charters, guided tours along the scenic Road to Hana, and helicopter flights over the volcanic Haleakala National Park are just a few of the experiences available to showcase the diverse landscapes of the island.
Spend the day enjoying the luxurious surroundings of the resort by heading out on the water for a stand-up paddle board or private surf lesson. The early risers can experience sunrise at Haleakala crater on a road trip, guided bike or hiking tour. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at Four Seasons Maui at Wailea with Master Chef Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, the Duo Steak & Seafood Restaurant and Ferraro’s Bar e Restaurant’s Italian fare.
Hawaii is more affectionately known as ‘The Big Island’, purely because it’s the largest of all the Hawaiian Islands. The luxury Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is surrounded by white-sand beaches and black-lava landscapes, with amenities including seven pools, an extensive watersports centre, tennis courts, spa and an 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus signature championship golf course. Don’t miss exploring the new King’s Pond, Hualalai’s 1.8-million-gallon lagoon of 4,000 colourful aquarium rescue fish.
Being the largest of the Hawaiian Islands, there are endless opportunities to discover this incredible destination. Venture out by helicopter for scenic flights over plunging valleys and volcanic landscapes. Witness spectacular sunsets from the peak of dormant Mauna Kea volcano or visit at night for an awe-inspiring stargazing experience. For those that love a good hike, The Big Island has miles of trails that take you through dramatic valleys, fields of lava rocks and sandy beaches.
For those that would love to know more about the geological forces that have shaped the Hawaiian Islands, we can arrange time with a volcanologist at Volcanoes National Park. Venture out on the water on a private yacht charter and snorkel with Mantra Rays at night. After your day of adventure, return to the luxury of your resort for sumptuous dining.
The last day of your luxury Hawaiian adventure. Transfer to Kona Airport for your flight home or take a stopover in mainland USA for a few days of city sightseeing or shopping.
