Itinerary

Depart the UK to start your family adventure across the breathtaking natural playground of Western Canada. On arrival at Calgary Airport, collect your rental vehicle and drive to Banff to check into your spacious One Bedroom Suite at Moose Hotel & Suites.
The real family adventure starts today with a thrilling river rafting trip through the pristine wilderness at Horseshoe Canyon. You’ll be collected from downtown Banff for a river rafting adventure, offering stunning scenery and up to Grade IV white-water rapids. The tour will stop to let you experience an optional cliff jump along the way.
Today, rather than the rapids, you’ll be horseback riding through Alberta’s untamed wilderness and panoramic scenery. Saddled-up and ready to ride, you’ll hit the trail for the ten-mile journey to Sundance Lodge, stopping for a cowboy-style lunch along the river. Linger by the campfire and watch the stars appear come evening.
Awake to a hearty breakfast and a steaming mug of coffee before you begin your late morning ride back through the deep wilderness to Banff. Lunch will be handmade sandwiches, as well as freshly baked goodies and fruit. You’ll return to Warner Stables at approximately 4.30 pm, from where you’ll make your way to spectacular Lake Louise for the night.
Explore the spectacular scenery while driving along one of Canada’s most breathtaking routes, The Icefield Parkway. Stop to see the turquoise Lake Louise, the awe-inspiring views from Bow Lake Viewpoint or hike to Peyto Lake Upper Viewpoint. You’ll then board the Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier, where you’ll walk across the ancient ice and teeter along the glass-floored Columbia Icefield Skywalk, looking down at the 918ft drop below!
Embark on a gentle rafting tour on the Athabasca River for a unique perspective of Jasper National Park.
