Itinerary

Kotugoda
On arrival you will be met by an Inspiring Travel company representative and transfer the short distance to your hotel in Kotugoda. The Wallawwa is located in 3 acres of gardens and was once a colonial manor house. the perfect place able to relax after your flight and prepare for the journey ahead.
Anuradhapura
This morning you will leave Minuwangoda and drive approximately 4 hours to Ulagalla Resort in Tirappane, close to Anuradhapura. Spend the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the beautiful Ulagalla Resort where you can relax in the 58 acres of the estate or just unwind by your private plunge pool.

Anuradhapura
After breakfast you will visit the first capital of ancient Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura was one of the most important and extensive of Sri Lanka’s royal capitals. For over 1,000 years, kings ruled from palaces located here. It is now a UNESCO world heritage site in recognition of its historical and cultural significance. One of the highlights are the bell shaped dagobas which house Buddhist relics and are dotted around the grounds of the ruined city.

Sigiriya
After breakfast drive to Sigiriya and climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway.

This morning you will check out of Ulagalla and head off to spectacular east coast beaches at Trincomalee. The journey will be approximately 3 hours. On arrival check into Uga Jungle Beach Resort which is set in a 10 acre reserve that allows you to explore both the jungle and the beach.

This morning you will enjoy a tour of Trincomalee a port city on the east coast of Sri Lanka, the city is one of the main centers of Tamil speaking culture in Sri Lanka. The port has played a major role in maritime and international trading history of Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is a natural deep-water harbor, which is rated as one of the finest of its kind in the world. The long and wide beaches located close by offer surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching.

Passikudah
This morning you will drive to Passikudah, a drive of approximately 3 hours. On arrival check into Uga Bay resort to enjoy a three night stay on the beach.

Kotugoda
After checking out from the hotel enjoy a leisurely transfer from Pasikudah to Kotugoda. Please note that this would be a 6- hour journey.

After breakfast drive to the airport for your departure flight home or maybe add a luxury stopover in the Maldives.
