The Wallawwa is tranquilly set within three acres of beautiful gardens only 15 minutes away from the Bandaranaike International Airport. Once a colonial manor house owned by the head chieftain of Galle, the boutique property now features only 17 bedrooms and suites.

The Wallawwa offers two types of accommodations for couples; Wallawwa bedrooms and spacious Garden Suites and for families, the Family Suites and the Mountbatten Suite. Nearly all of the accommodations feature four poster beds, private verandahs and bright furnishings.

The Wallawwa is ideally situated for excursions to the beaches and fish markets of Negombo (30 minutes away) as well as to the city of Colombo. At The Wallawwa, dine at the hotel’s restaurant, The Verandah, where Asian fusion cuisine is served overlooking the gardens. An in-room dining service, kids menu and vegetarian meals are also available.

Facilities include a library, study with iMac computer and complimentary internet, swimming pool and games such as, croquet and badminton. Not to be missed are the signature massage, scrub and wrap treatments at the Z Spa.

The Family Suite is 90 square metres and features a king size four poster double bed, 2 four poster single beds, an armchair and built-in window seat, private furnished verandah, air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi internet access, two satellite televisions, two safety deposit boxes, two rain showers, tea and coffee making facilities and two hair dryers.
The Mountbatten Suite

The Mountbatten Suite

The Mountbatten Suite is 162 square metres and features two bedrooms and a living room with sofa. The suite is furnished with a private plunge pool, king size four poster double bed, two queen size four poster double beds, private garden with seating area, air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi interest access, three satellite televisions, safety deposit box, hair dryer, two rain showers and a bathtub, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Wallawwa Bedroom is 35 square metres and features a king size double poster bed, air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi internet access, satellite television, safety deposit box, hair dryer, rain shower and tea and coffee making facilities.

Garden Suites are 55 square metres and feature a king size Balinese four poster double bed or two twin size four poster beds, armchair and built in window seat, furnished private verandah, air conditioning, fan, Wi-Fi internet access, satellite television, safety deposit box, hair dryer, rain shower and tea and coffee making facilities.
