Pedal through the stunning landscapes from Arrowtown to Queenstown on a mountain bike ride and cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the vintage TSS Earnslaw steamboat, followed by a sumptuous BBQ dinner. Spot New Zealand Fur Seals frolicking in the sea or basking on the rocky coastline on a fun family kayak adventure and sail along the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park, stopping for beach walks and swimming. Finally, add a splash of adventure with the Dart River Funyak and Jet Boat experience, racing along the shallow braided river with exhilarating 360-degree spins to get the adrenaline pumping. Itinerary

On your arrival in Auckland, you will be met and transported to your city centre hotel. Experience a world where the lines between fantasy and reality are blurred. Step into this 'fantastical' film effects workshop and explore the worlds of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy in the making on the 90-minute WETA Workshop Unleashed Tour. The All Blacks Experience is a fully interactive and immersive experience for rugby fans of all ages.
The harbour and Hauraki Gulf is dotted with islands, with Waiheke Island being a favourite with families. Catch a ferry or seaplane to start your island adventure. There are a whole host of different activities and touring options on the island, including private guided e-bike tours, car, and bike rentals, or explore the island using the local bus network. The island is renowned for its vineyards, arts & crafts and of course its beautiful beaches
Today you leave Auckland behind and embark on a magical journey through Middle-earth to the Hobbiton Movie Set from Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Your tour will take you through rich farmland and across undulating green hills. On arrival at Shire’s Rest you embark on your Hobbiton movie set tour. You will see 44 hobbit holes, the Mill and double arch bridge, all part of the largest “green set” in the world. The tour ends with a drink at the Green Dragon Inn before you continue your journey to Rotorua.
Rotorua is renowned for its geothermal parks, lakes, and volcanic landscapes as well as its Maori Culture. Today is spent in Rotorua's Treetops, starting with an adrenaline-pumping zipline tour through the prehistoric native forest along 6 ziplines covering 600 metres. Suspended high above the forest floor, follow bridges and platforms through the treetops of 75-metre-tall redwoods.
Rotorua is the perfect destination for adventurous families. Visit Mt Tarawera by 4X4 vehicle or helicopter for an exhilarating tour of volcanic craters, hiking or a remote hot pools experience. Plummet down the craziest 350m H2OGO Zorb track at ZORB Rotorua or white-water raft the Kaituna, Rangitaiki or Wairoa Rivers, graded between 3-5. There are mountain-biking trails galore as well as several Jet Boating locations for those that really want to get the adrenaline running.
Kaikoura
Retrace your steps back to Nelson and continue to Havelock, famous for its green shell mussels. Continue through Marlborough's scenic wine-growing region and south along the dramatic coastline with the Pacific Ocean to one side and Kaikoura Mountains to the other. Be sure to stop at Nins Bin for fresh Crayfish, mussels, and delicious fish & chips while watching fur seals basking on the rocks. Staying at Sudima Kaikoura
Kaikoura
Head out on the water with professionally qualified guides on a family kayak adventure of Kaikoura's coastline. Look out for playful New Zealand Fur Seals in the water and on the shoreline with a dramatic backdrop of the Kaikoura Mountains. The afternoon is free for you to explore Kaikoura or take to the skies on an optional helicopter adventure in search of whales and pods of dolphins. Staying at Sudima Kaikoura
Continue your journey to Christchurch, the capital city of the South Island. Punt on the River Avon, tour the city by tram, or visit the International Antarctic Centre, an interactive exhibit with snow and ice experiences, survive a snowstorm and 4D simulations.
Mount Cook
One of the most photographed scenes in all of New Zealand is the tiny Church of Good Shepherd that sits on the edge of Lake Tekapo with Mount Cook in the background, simply breathtaking. This afternoon discover the high-back country and a 4WD adventure to Braemar Station. Back on the road following the shore of Lake Pukaki to Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest peak.
Mount Cook
Enjoy a full day at Mount Cook/Aoraki. This morning embark on a glacier boat adventure, while in the afternoon take a self-guided walk of Hooker Valley or an optional ski plane and helicopter flight with a landing on a glacier. This evening explore the wonders of the night sky with one of the resident astronomy guides.
Today you will drive over the spectacular Lindis Pass and through wine growing region of Gibbston Valley to Queenstown. You have arrived in what has come to be known as the adventure capital of the world. Explore the attractive waterfront and pedestrianised shopping centre, enjoy lunch or dinner with a backdrop of the Remarkable Mountains.
Wake in the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown. This morning we have a gentle mountain bike ride arranged from the historic mining town of Arrowtown, along the Arrow River and Kawarau rivers. You will cross the spectacular gorge over six bridges, including three suspension bridges, and pass the AJ Hackett Bungy site at Kawarau Bridge. Those brave enough can have a go! Your bike tour concludes in the Gibbston Wine Valley where the grown-ups can enjoy some wine-tasting. This afternoon board the historic TSS Earnslaw steamship to sail across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm where you will enjoy a Gourmet BBQ Dinner.
This morning starts with a shuttle drive along the shores of Lake Wakatipu, admiring the awe-inspiring views of the Remarkable Mountains along the way. Then board a high-powered jet boat where you can race upriver with exhilarating 360-degree turns in shallow water and then gently drift back downriver in an inflatable canoe. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in ancient beech forest on the river edge before returning for your last evening in Queenstown.
Check-out of your hotel and drive to Queenstown Airport for your departure flight.
