Set amidst the lush gardens of Guayaquil’s Historical Park, the Hotel del Parque is a relaxing oasis in the city of Guayaquil.
The hotel - just ten minutes from the airport - is a perfect stop for anyone travelling onto the Galapagos, or flying home after their travels in Ecuador.
One of the only boutique properties in Guayaquil, the luxurious Hotel del Parque is a beautifully restored 19th-century building converted into a hotel (opened in 2017). The décor of the hotel remains in keeping with the building’s colonial history.
There are 44 sumptuous rooms, all spacious, light and airy. Providing utmost comfort, you will find grand beds, cosy sitting areas and beautifully appointed marble bathrooms. The hotel’s restaurant specialises in fine dining and overlooks the River Daule. Chef Juan Carlos Ordonez offers delicious Ecuadorian cuisine with a particular emphasis on seafood dishes from the Pacific coast.
A variety of activities are available at the hotel. Perhaps take a tour of their botanic gardens to learn about the healing herbs of Ecuador. Guests can also learn about the art and process of roasting coffee as well as the chocolate-making process.
