Traverse the Mediterranean with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, sailing from Venice to Rome and stopping in multiple cities across Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, Greece and Malta. Before you embark, you’ll travel from Paris to Venice via the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express, where you’ll enjoy two days travelling in style whilst you pass the majestic vistas of Europe.

After disembarking the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express, you’ll indulge in a luxurious three-night stay in the heart of the ‘city of bridges’. Spend your days exploring the gothic beauty and enjoying a myriad of activities across the city, including the famous gondola rides and sightseeing.

Next, it’s time to set sail. There’s so much history and culture to soak up across your ports-of-call, with the Seven Seas Grandeur anchoring for long days that allow you to get the most of each stunning city. You’ll explore the many charming attractions and golden beaches of your ports of call, delving into rich history, vibrant cultures and delicious cuisine with unlimited shore excursions, all included.

In between stops, you can get to know the ship’s luxuries. Why not browse its boutiques for some jewellery, or spend the day relaxing in the sun on the deck? After taking the Eurostar from St Pancras to Paris, you’ll board the Venice-Simplon Orient-Express to Venice. On this rail journey, you’ll be immersed in timeless luxury whilst soaking up the beautiful scenery between Paris and Venice. After your arrival in Venice, stay for three luxurious nights soaking up the beautiful architecture and vibrant culture of the city.
Today, you’ll be leaving your luxury hotel and embarking on your cruise with Regent Seven Seas.
After departing Venice, spend a day sailing the Adriatic Sea, with the chance to explore the luxuries of the ship. Visit the boutiques onboard that sell a selection of designer accessories, clothes and even gifts. When you’re not browsing, be sure to head out to the pool deck to relax in the sun with a drink of your choice from the bar.
Dubrovnik, Croatia is next on your journey. Explore the ‘Pearl of The Adriatic’ that’s home to unique marble-paved squares and picturesque cobbled streets. Spend your day visiting the UNESCO-listed Old City, and its many historical sites.
Your next port of call is Kotor in Montenegro, a coastal town that is home to historic architecture and secluded by the Gulf of Kotor. Walk along the ancient city walls and immerse in its past with visits to the House of Nemanjicc before heading back to the ship for an overnight journey to Italy.
Today, you’ll be Brindisi, a charming city located in the south of Italy. Step back in time as you stroll along the maze of small alley ways, all framed by the historic architecture. Venture into the city’s heart from the quaint, picturesque harbour and discover its rich history at its Archaeological Museum, Church of San Giovanni al Sepolcro and much more.
Sail overnight to the shores of Igoumenitsa to immerse in authentic Greek charm. Spend the day drenched in the glorious sun whilst exploring its beauty from stunning architecture and historical sites to the beautiful sandy bays and beaches.
Extend your historic adventure to another city in Greece, Argostoli, where you can enjoy a day visiting its open-air markets, or delving into its history at its archaeological museum that is home to rich artifacts of the Mycenean culture.
Your next port of call is Malta’s capital city, Valletta. Immerse in its beauty from the moment you dock, with rugged coastlines lining the city architecture including the 19th century Mosta Dome, visible from anywhere in on the island. Be sure to visit the serene San Anton Palace Gardens or even take a day trip to Mdina to see the Baroque Cathedral of St John.
After a night sailing back to Italy, you’ll stop for a day in Catania, a city of ancient churches, castles and amphitheatres. Be sure to explore the Ursino Castle and it’s many other beautiful remnants of history whilst enjoying the Mediterranean sun.
Palermo is the capital of Sicily, and hosts a myriad of rich history and vibrant cultures, making it the ‘Jewel of the Mediterranean’. As the largest city of Sicily, there’s so much to explore, from the historical Norman Palace to the picturesque beaches.
There’s nothing quite like a day spent under the sun with the spectacular views of Positano’s landscapes sprawled in front of you. From its sparkling waters to its white-washed Moorish-style houses, you can spend your day in awe of its beauty. Visit the stunning Amalfi coast to see the Cauchin monastery and Cathedral, before enjoying a browse in the boutiques and local stores for souvenirs.
Your last port of call is Rome, where you'll disembark and fly back to the UK.
