Hotel information
The style and look of the resort, standard of facilities, location, included extras and just about every element that goes into making this property luxury define it.
You really are spoilt for choice while staying here, as first you have the Temple of Poseidon; highlights of ancient Athens; countless museums; scenic coastal roads and local tavernas to explore within minutes of the property.
Then, back at the Four Seasons Astir Palace itself there are three private beaches lined with loungers and daybeds; two stunning outdoor pools surrounded by sun patios plus another pool and signature Fountain House hydrotherapy zone in the hotel’s heavenly spa; multiple fine dining restaurants and cocktail bars; a kids club; tennis courts; evening entertainment and a private jetty on nearby Astir Marina for yacht tours, and romantic sunset cruises each evening.
The point is that, during your time at Four Seasons Astir Palace, you’ll benefit from both a prime location, nicely tucked away on a private mini-peninsula though close enough to the highlights of Athens, plus all of those top-end five-star facilities onsite. And, given the size of the resort, it won’t matter whether you are visiting this region of Greece as a family or couple as there are adults-only and child-friendly areas alike, from the spa to the games room, private beach to lounge bars; Four Seasons Astir Palace has everyone covered. In terms of décor and design, the outside of this resort is uber-cool and very easy on the eye. Think white linen cabanas, immaculate sundecks and potted olive trees sitting harmoniously with the natural foliage and ancient trees that hug the coastline. Inside each luxurious guestroom, villa or bungalow the story continues, all white marble, pine floors, walls of glass and not an ornament out of place; this is contemporary Greek style to a tee.
And just as the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel certainly feels the part, enjoys unbeatable Aegean views and undeniable good looks, if you’re in any doubt as to its five-star credentials, simply make your way to any of the seven fine dining restaurants or cocktail and lounge bars. Here you’ll find only the very best seasonal produce, cutting-edge cuisine, globally-inspired techniques and recipes worthy of such a setting; flawless.
Room Options
Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel has three distinct locations for its varied accommodation options, all set around a different point on this mini-peninsula meaning each offers a slightly different view, appeal to the rooms and mix of which resort facilities are closest to hand. That said, they do also have a lot in common too, such as their squeaky clean, modern and thoroughly elegant interior design, lovely outdoor areas, sea views and extensive list of in-room amenities. Some come with a private pool, others a cute garden lining their patios, though every room at Four Seasons Astir Palace will enjoy, at the very least, 430sq ft of space, a king-size bed, walk-in rain shower and separate deep-soak tub, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs in both the bedroom and bathroom, thick robes and either forest or coastal views.
The Arion section of Four Seasons Astir Palace has easy access to the spa and indoor pool, as well as restaurants and bars including Pelagos, the Astron Lounge, Aristotle’s and Taverna 37, while those in the Nafsika wing are closest to Mercato, the hotel’s Italian eatery, Avra Bar and poolside grill Helios, as well as the gym and waterfront itself. If staying in the Bungalows, you’ll be nicely tucked away though close to the beach and almost everything is equidistant.
Arion Rooms and Suites
The Arion accommodation options are a lovely, modern, yet slightly understated collection of spacious guestrooms and suites which range from 430-560sq ft in the Sea-view Room and Junior Suite category, then from 806-7,209sq ft for the suites. Most suites actually sit somewhere in the middle at around 2,000sq ft and include two king-size beds, Aegean Sea views, at least one beautifully furnished terrace or balcony, two full marble bathrooms, an airy living room and plenty more.Nafsika Sea-view Room
These striking 474sq ft rooms are fresh, modern and extremely well-equipped, all also coming with a furnished terrace, every Four Seasons in-room extra and for some, the addition of a small garden around the patio too.Nafsika Sea-view Suite with Terrace, Garden or Pool
The standard 947sq ft Nafsika Sea-view Suites are a wonderful option as within their extended floorplan lies a spacious living room and extended marble bathrooms, as well as a furnished terrace and all other Four Seasons in-room extras. Then, in the superior categories – which go up to 1,420sq ft in size – you’ll also get a private plunge pool, expansive terrace or patio with al fresco dining areas, plus an indoor lounge, kitchen, additional dining space and either one or two full marble bath...Nafsika Ambassador Suite
This top-floor suite is a remarkable place to spend your time while visiting Greece, with its huge 2,300sq ft floorplan including multiple lounge and dining areas, no less than four terraces including one with a plunge pool and sofas, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and so much else to enjoy.Garden and Sea-view Bungalow
A luxurious and minimally-designed space of 452sq ft, coming with all of the standard Four Seasons in-room extras, walk-in showers, deep-soak tubs and views of either the Aegean or resort gardens, though also an outdoor Jacuzzi tub for some.Sea-view Bungalow with pool
Offering the same layout, size, sea views and in-room amenities as the neighbouring Bungalows, with the additional extra of a private plunge pool beside the terrace; perfect.Sea View Bungalow Suite
This suite option has a little bit of everything to offer: a superior floorplan of 861sq ft, separate living room and large terrace overlooking the Aegean.Bungalow Suite with Pool
Enjoying either garden or sea views, you can savour it all when booking this room category from your huge private sundeck or plunge pool; bliss. Everything else is similar to equivalent bungalows with an 861sq ft floorplan, separate living room and luxe bathroom, with that external space and priceless pool standing this particular suite category out from the crowd.Facilities/Amenities
The Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel is loaded with exciting things do, exclusive services and five-star facilities, such as its three private beaches, five tennis courts, a private jetty for boat tours and yacht hire, three luxe swimming pools and a unique indoor hydrotherapy zone, the Fountain House. Here you will find a lap pool, aroma room, vitality pools and a traditional Hammam, as well as all kinds of restorative treatments available at the spa, a gym and yoga studio with classes on offer.
