Accommodating up to 30 people, this estate boasts 12 rooms that spread across five separate buildings: The Great House, The Carriage House, North Cottage, South Cottage and Hillaby House. All are embellished in soothing tones and equipped with indulgent bathroom amenities, elegant furniture and balconies that overlook the sweeping Caribbean Sea or the lush garden.

With an attentive team, The Great House has everything covered from full-time personal chefs curating fresh meals to butlers and housekeepers, making your stay as comfortable as possible and welcoming those who are travelling with families or groups of friends.

Spend your days enjoying the myriad of activities and fun rooms that The Great House provides. Spend family time with your little ones watching a movie in the Cinema Room or challenging them to a friendly game of pool, table tennis or your favourite board game in the Games Room. Alternatively, you can head out to the beach and sail out to the best spots in the ocean for snorkelling, kayaking or enjoying the thrill of a ride-on inflatable.

Stay on land and explore the many exciting facilities within the resort. Try your hand at tennis at the professional tennis court or soak up the sun whilst exploring and relaxing in the tranquil gardens that surround the estate. Plus, you can take a relaxing swim in the infinity pool just outside the Great Bar.

The Great House is also home to calming spa facilities, including spa rooms, external spa services and a massage room for you to indulge in a rejuvenating treatment after days of fun and exploring. At The Great House, there are 12 luscious bedrooms set across four buildings, with enough space to welcome groups of up to thirty. Whatever your preference is, the suites can be arranged to suit you and your loved ones.

All suites and cottages are supplied with everything you need for evenings of pampering, including bathrobes, slippers and Penhaligon’s bathroom amenities. Plus, you’ll find your very own beach bag to use.

The Great House:

The Great House features four different suites that all boast elegant comfort and soothing views of both the lush garden and azure ocean. Relax and indulge in Barbados’ rhythms from your private balcony, or enjoy lazy mornings in your luxurious bed. The Great House Garden Suite is wheelchair accessible.

The Carriage House:

The Carriage House is made up of four suites that embody the serenity of Barbados’ nature. All embellished in natural tones and decorated with beautiful foliage, there’s no better place to relax.

The Cottages:

This luxurious villa resort boasts two cottages that are located on the north and south side. Rejuvenate in the soothing accents of the cottage’s style, featuring wicker furniture and an outdoor bathtub and shower.

The Hillaby House:

The Hillaby House is composed of two luxurious suites that are the epitome of elegance. At every corner there are soothing tones and elements that replicate the beauty of the surrounding gardens.

Restaurants and Bars

Although there are no restaurants at The Great House, there is a team of experienced chefs that have created a seamless menu for all visitors. The full-time chefs use fresh, local produce to cook and prepare all their sumptuous meals, and they ensure to make dishes that suit all dietary needs.

When you’re exploring the resort, you’ll find numerous hydration stations that offer both still and sparkling water. If you’re looking for something a little stronger, you can request a premium wine from the resort’s well-stocked house cellar selection.

Great Bar

Located in the centre of the resort is the Great Bar. Head into here before or after taking a relaxing dip in the pool that is just outside the bar, and enjoy a refreshing beverage with beautiful views of the saltwater aquariums that are home to some beautiful, local reef fish.

Family activities

The Great House welcomes families with their wide range of activities and fun-filled rooms. Of an evening, cuddle up and enjoy popcorn and a movie in the Cinema Room, or head to the Games Room for some relaxed family fun, playing pool, air hockey, table tennis and much more.

For something more relaxing, head to the Library to revel in peace and quiet to either read, play games or catch up on your work.

Venture outdoors and partake in all-kinds of beach fun. Watersports activities are available on the beach, so be sure to take a scenic ride on the motorboat or speedboat to enjoy a fun afternoon of snorkelling or kayaking. Stay on land to enjoy a friendly tennis tournament with your loved ones at the floodlit, professional tennis court – with a wide range of rackets, both adults and children are welcome to play.

Spa and wellness

Take time to rejuvenate and visit the calming spa rooms and indulge in some of their many spa treatments. The Great House also features a massage room for private massages.
