Just 20 minutes from the entrance of Bandhavgarh National Park, the Mahua Kothi lodge sprawls over 40 acres.
The original homestead has been beautifully renovated to form the guest areas and the 12 charming en suite guest suites, accessed by private courtyards, feature a spacious verandah, wooden shutters, wooden beams and pottery roof tiles.
Unwind in the library, beat the midday heat in the swimming pool or be pampered at the Jiva Spa or with an in-room Ayurvedic massage. Fresh local ingredients are used in the preparation of food; breakfast can be laid out on a bullock cart, known as a Baghiya breakfast, and at lunch, guests can dine by the pool, have a picnic or eat by the watering hole. In the evening, dine under the stars enjoying thali dinners.
The Mahua Kothi is closed yearly between 1 Jul and 15 Oct.
