Hotel information
Studded on a vast private reserve in Grumeti, Northern Tanzania, Singita Faru Faru lodge benefits from just the kind of remote setting that makes any luxury safari a thing to truly remember.
While here, you’ll be admiring picture-perfect savannah sunsets from the pool or sundeck, on the lodge’s al fresco dining terrace or perhaps your private suite, as at Singita Faru Faru the great Serengeti Mara is never far away.
It’s even easier to feel close to nature here thanks to first the lodge’s eco-credentials, conservation and sustainability efforts, and secondly, the game drives and wildlife walks themselves. Your expert guiding team will take you out in their fleet of converted Land Rovers, or simply strap on the walking boots in search of Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs and so much more, as well as trips to scenic lookout points and even an anti-poaching observation post too. Little ones are equally well catered for, as in addition to the game drives – which they will love – there is also a kids club here at Singita Faru Faru with face painting, cookery classes and plenty of games for them to enjoy.
And though the wildlife is the main reason for booking a safari at Singita Faru Faru, any time spent around the grounds in between excursions will be supremely comfortable and memorable in its own right, with the lodge boasting a spa, small gym, two luxe swimming pools and loungers on the sundeck which look towards the plains.
So, on top of everything else, Singita Faru Faru is also a super stylish safari lodge here in northern Tanzania, with nice elements of contemporary design intertwining their way through otherwise more traditional looking spaces, including the beautiful tented suites which are both spacious and luxurious in one.
Room Options
The tented suites at Singita Faru Faru are surprisingly modern once you step inside, all designer furniture and polished wooden bed frames, contemporary bathrooms with a standalone tub, thick rugs and king-size beds – which helps provide a real sanctuary after a dusty day on the plains. Each also has a few mod-cons such as Wi-Fi and a cutting-edge telescope, though not much else, as quite rightly the real highlight is what can be seen through the wraparound windows outside.
One-bedroom Suite
A gorgeous space with panoramic windows, a comfortable seating area and all other Singita Faru Faru in-room extras.Family Suite
The Family Suite enjoys the same design features and style as the rest of the lodge, but comes with two bedrooms so is ideal for families.Two-bedroom Pool Suite
The Two-bedroom Pool Suite is the cream of the crop at Singita Faru Faru, great for families if in need of extra space or couples who like the idea of a private pool and outside space while here.Facilities/Amenities
Singita Faru Faru fits some welcome comforts into its luxury safari lodge grounds, such as a small gym hut, massage and wellness area, two swimming pools surrounded by al fresco terraces, a games room for kids and boutique selling local artwork and crafts. Everything else here is dedicated to the wildlife encounters all around, though the team will be more than happy to assist with anything extra that you may need.
Restaurants & Bars
Singita Faru Faru Dining
The setting for each gourmet meal at Singita Faru Faru could not be better, as more often than not you’ll find yourself dining out on the lodge’s picture-perfect terrace, overlooking the plains beyond. There is an elegant restaurant space too if you prefer, though either way the food here is a heavenly blend of fresh juices, breads and fruit in the morning, and internationally inspired dishes throughout the day – sometimes straight from the BBQ grill and accompanied by a mix of kaleidoscopic salads. Drinks by the pool or under the stars at night are also an absolute must during your stay.

Activities & Entertainment
Guided safari walks and game drives are the main focus at Singita Faru Faru, though you can also visit an anti-poaching observation post and head up to scenic viewpoints that look out over the plains too. While on safari here you might expect to see Cheetahs, Bat-eared Foxes, Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, Buffalo and Leopards, and, depending on the time of year, you could also be lucky enough to witness the Wildebeest migration nearby. Aside from the abundant wildlife, nature walks and safari tours, community visits are always an interesting thing to do, and children have lots of entertainment provided such as cookery classes, arts and crafts, face painting and a special Mini Rangers’ Course hosted by one of the guides.
