Lengishu is located in Laipkipia, the heart of Kenya’s 32,000 acre Borana Conservancy, one the country’s most successful rhino sanctuaries , guaranteeing complete privacy for up to 12 guests.
Lengishu offers some of the most authentic ways to encounter Kenya’s wildlife and wilderness including day and night drives, rhino tracking by foot and exceptional viewpoints for bush breakfasts and sundowners. The property has sustainability at heart and is one of the only twelve properties worldwide to have achieved GER status, recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

The main house is central to the design with a large entrance hall leading to the study as well as a vaulted sitting and dining room which is warmed by two large fireplaces with glorious views. Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Lengishu is built entirely of sustainable materials to blend into the surroundings. The stones have been excavated from the site itself, sourced when the foundations were laid. The wooden beams and panels are made of teak and gum poles from Kenya.
Lengishu is also proud members of The Long Run, a membership organisation of a nature-based tourism business committed to driving sustainability. Through this membership they are committed to a continuous journey of improvement towards excellence in sustainability and the 4C- Conservation, Community, Culture and Commerce.
The property is completely solar powered and plastic free with a grey water recycling system, sustainability is at the heart of everything they do.
