Itinerary

Key Largo, Florida Keys
Fly into Miami International Airport where you’ll pick up your car for your holiday to The Florida Keys. If you have time, extend your holiday and stay in Miami for a couple of nights. Drive from Miami to the first of the Florida Keys, Key Largo which is approximately an hour and a half from the airport. You may wish to stop off at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park for a glass bottom boat tour. Accommodation: Bakers Cay Resort Key Largo Curio Collections by Hilton
Key Largo, Florida Keys
Spend the day experiencing Key Largo, the diving capital of the world, where there are numerous sites and even underwater wrecks to discover. Accommodation: Bakers Cay Resort Key Largo Curio Collections by Hilton
Key West, Florida Keys
After checking out of your hotel in Key Largo, begin the drive to Key West, the last of the Keys. This beautiful drive down US Route 1 is a treat in itself! En route, you may wish to stop off at Tavernier and walk around the historic centre or at Marathon where there are nature trails to be enjoyed at the Museum of Natural History.
Key West, Florida Keys
Charming Key West is bursting with personality and its own unique style. We recommend taking a catamaran cruise out to the living reef where you can spend time in the water, snorkelling with the many tropical fish. On your return take a walk around the downtown palm-lined roads where you’ll see Victorian houses as well as ‘conch’ houses. Visit Ernest Hemmingway’s House and have your photo taken at the Southernmost Point. Perhaps even visit Fort Jefferson at the Dry Tortugas National Park.
Islamorada, Florida Keys
After checking out of your hotel in Key West, drive back (around two hours) towards the start of the Keys to Islamorada. En route, stop off at Big Pine Key and The Lower Keys where there are snorkelling, diving and fishing adventures on offer. You might also wish to visit the Key Deer National Wildlife Refuge, home to hundreds of miniature deer or the beaches of the Bahia Honda State Park.
Islamorada, Florida Keys
Spend the day discovering Islamorada’s six islands and several state parks. The island is well known for its sport fishing, but there’s also great diving and snorkelling as well as boutique art stores. Enjoy dining at the beachfront cafes where fresh seafood is served.
Staying at   Cheeca Lodge & Spa
Drive from Islamorada to South Beach Miami where you can laze by the pool or at the beach, shop on Lincoln Road or Brickell Avenue downtown or enjoy the vast array of restaurants, bars and clubs right on your doorstep.
Explore Miami South Beach with its art deco architecture, shop at Lincoln Road Mall and enjoy Mediterranean cuisine on Espanola Way. A unique activity and wonderful way to spend a few hours is at Wynwood Walls - Urban Graffiti Art Museum in Downtown Miami. The walls of several blocks of warehouses have been given up to some of the world's greatest graffiti artists to create an outdoor museum of street art. There are some great pop-up cafes and restaurants here too.
Today is your final day in southern Florida. A transfer will be arranged to collect you and take you to Miami Airport in time for your departure flight.
