This independent tour of Ontario takes you to Canada's largest city, Toronto and the countries capital city of Ottawa. Our independent tours includes your flights, and transportation plus a number of scheduled excursions to ensure you make the most of your time in your destination.

Toronto is not only Canada's largest city but also its most diverse and is one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Toronto has no fewer than five Chinatowns, Little Italy, Little Portugal and a thriving Greek community. There are endless opportunities for shopping with department stores and vibrant markets. Take a 2 hour city tour to help you get your bearings and then enjoy free time to explore Toronto's highlights including an optional tour of CN Tower, a culinary walking tour or enjoy birds eye views of the city and Lake Ontario on a helicopter flightseeing tour.

Visit the majestic Niagara Falls on a full day tour including a Hornblower Cruise or Journey Behind The Falls, plus free-time in the charming historic village of Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Take Canada's efficient VIA Rail service through the Ontario countryside to Canada's capital city, Ottawa which sits on the Ontario and Quebec border. At its centre sits Parliament Hill, with its grand Victorian architecture and the National Gallery of Canada. Enjoy a cruise on the Ottawa River and have free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Itinerary

Take your flight from the UK to Toronto, on arrival you will be transferred by private vehicle to your overnight hotel. The rest of the afternoon and evening is at your leisure.
A full day to explore Toronto's highlights at your leisure, including Chinatown. Discover this vibrant and diverse city, maybe travel to the top of CN Tower for panoramic views or for the adrenaline seeker take the 'Edgewalk CN Tower' where you walk around the outside of the top of the tower on a harness.
Today you visit the breath-taking Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. You will travel through the orchard laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls where you can enjoy free time marvel at this spectacular sight. You may choose to either take the Hornblower Cruise (mid-April - mid-October) or take the Journey Behind The Falls tour. Enjoy views of the falls during lunch and spend free time to explore the historic town Niagara-On-The-Lake on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Watch the world go by on your 4.5 hour journey on Canada's VIA Rail service between Downtown Toronto to Downtown Ottawa. Enjoy the benefits of travelling in Business Class with extra comfortable seats and more space plus a hot meal with glass of Canadian wine and a cocktail service. On arrival to Ottawa make your way to your hotel accommodation and enjoy an evening at leisure.
This historical private walking tour provides visitors with a great overview of Canada’s capital city and offers an opportunity to learn more about the people and locations that make Ottawa an important world capital. Stops on the tour include the National War Memorial, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, The Prime Minister’s Offices, Sparks Street, Parliament Hill, the Chateau Laurier, the UNESCO Rideau Canal, Sussex Drive and By Ward Market, to name but a few. Enjoy Ottawa's gastronomy in the evening or maybe join a 'Haunted Walk of Ottawa'.
A day of leisure can be enjoyed in Ottawa before you are transferred back to the airport for your homeward flight.
