Take a musical journey through America’s Deep South, learning the history of rock ‘n’ soul, blues, country and jazz.

Visit Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and the Johnny Cash Museum. In Memphis take a VIP audio tour of Elvis Presley’s Graceland and the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum. While in New Orleans, visit the historic plantation houses, enjoy a live Jazz Brunch at the historic Court of Two Sisters restaurant, and take a Mississippi Steamboat dinner cruise, accompanied by live Jazz.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Nashville Airpot, transfer to your downtown hotel.
Purchase a Nashville Music Museum Pass which gives you access to four of Nashville’s music attractions. Take a self-guided tour of Ryman Auditorium, and enjoy a trip through decades of country music history at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Visit the Johnny Cash Museum and the Historic RCA Studio B, which was once the recording studio for the Everly Brothers and Elvis Presley.
A further day for you to explore Nashville and visit additional attractions such as the Patsy Cline Museum or the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. Take an optional lunch or dinner cruise on the General Jackson paddle-wheel boat along Nashville’s Cumberland River.
Collect your car rental from Nashville Airport and take a leisurely drive west to Memphis, famous for the blues, rock ‘n’ roll, soul and of course Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Check-in to the famous and historic Peabody Memphis Hotel and try to catch the daily ‘March of the Peabody Ducks’ at 5pm!
Take an audio-guided VIP tour around Elvis Presley’s Graceland Mansion. Your tour includes access to the state-of-the-art Elvis Presley’s Memphis exhibit, which follows the path of the iconic singer’s life. Visit the Presley Motors Car Museum and walk among some of Elvis’ favourites including his Pink Cadillac.

Spend the day taking a journey through the complete story of Memphis’ music history. Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum sits on historic Beale Street and legendary Third Street, the Blues Highway. The Museum audio tour guide takes you through visual programs and exhibits. Memphis Music Hall of Fame introduces you to some of the greatest musicians of all time, including Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley.

Greenwood, Mississippi
Head south from Memphis this morning to Greenwood where you will stay at the boutique Alluvian Hotel. The hotel is renown for the Viking Cooking School where you can attend a cookery class, or if you prefer to relax, indulge in spa treatments at the Alluvian Spa. Greenwood is the perfect base to explore the region, Visit the Delta or tour the plantation homes such as the grand Greenwood Plantation House

Today we recommend spending a day in the hip little Mississippi Delta town of Cleveland. The towns has fantastic shopping, dining and blues history as well as being home of the Grammy Museum®. At the museum you will see exhibits that include the History of the Grammy Awards, History of Dance where you learn about different dance fads on an inter-active dance floor and a display of Iconic Instruments.
Staying at   The Alluvian
Natchez, Mississippi
Today continue your journey south to Natchez which sits on the banks of the majestic Mississippi River. En-route we suggest stopping at Vicksburg, a city steeped in history and known as the site of the Siege of Vicksburg, a key Civil War Battle. The city offers several Civil War related attractions including the vast Vicksburg National Military Park and the USS Cairo Gunboat & Museum. If time permits we recommend the scenic route from Vicksburg to Natchez along the "Old Natchez Traceway"
Spend a leisurely morning exploring Natchez, known for its beautiful antebellum mansions such as the impressive Longwood Historic Home as well as your hotel Monmouth Inn. Continue your journey towards New Orleans through plantation country via Baton Rouge with opportunities to visit Oak Alley Plantation, Witney Plantation; a slavery museum with restored buildings and the impressive Evergreen Plantation. Late afternoon, board Steamboat NATCHEZ for your two-hour Mississippi River cruise on an authentic paddle steamer, with dinner and a live jazz band.
Enjoy a leisurely southern brunch at the famous Court of Two Sisters Restaurant in the French Quarter. Choose to dine in one of the dining rooms or in the delightful courtyard, accompanied by a jazz band. The remainder of the day is free for exploring this fascinating city.
Enjoy a day exploring New Orleans further. Spend time in the historic French Quarter, famous for its colourful buildings with cast-iron balconies. Stop for a Beignet at Cafe du Monde, New Orleans is famous for these delicious deep fried pastries. City highlights include the Garden District and the WWII Museum.
Transfer to New Orleans Airport in time for your departure flight.
