Itinerary

Arrival at Catania Airport and private transfer to Ragusa Ibla. Set out on a guided walking tour of the historic city centre. During the tour, stop at the atelier of a Sicilian cart master. Then, enjoy dinner inside the cave of an ancient watermill located in the middle of a canyon.
Ortigia
Today, join a local guide and visit the island of Ortigia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Venture down winding streets lined with stunning Renaissance and Baroque buildings. Visit the famous Cathedral and see the 6th-century-B.C. Temple of Apollo. Then, visit a local farm where they will take you around their "Romana" almond orchards and enjoy a homely lunch on-site.
Taormina
Continue to Taormina, a location labeled by Goethe as “a corner of paradise,” and enjoy a walking tour through the upper town. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea, expect magnificent views. See the celebrated Teatro Greco, with its spectacular views of Mt. Etna and the calm sea far below. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant overlooking the ocean.
Mt Etna
Reach Europe’s largest active volcano, Mount Etna. Take a cable car ride up the slope and enjoy a walk around the crater, escorted by a knowledgeable alpine guide. Then, visit an extraordinary winery on the slopes of this legendary volcano. Taste fabulous local wines paired with local food, all backdropped by the mountains dramatic panorama, before driving back to Taormina.
Catania
Private transfer to Catania Airport for your return flight home.
