Two luxury hotels, one exceptional catamaran transfer, and the opportunity to explore Greece’s UNESCO-listed sites, award-winning beaches and stunning Ionian islands await on this twin-centre Corfu and Parga tour.

The experience begins in Corfu, with a four-night, all-inclusive stay at the MarBella in Agios Ioannis Peristeron. This seafront hotel with its lagoon-style pools and private beach has been named one of Greece’s best thanks to its generous dining choices, accommodation set among landscaped gardens and warm, safe bathing waters.

And MarBella’s location is celebrated too. Just half an hour from Corfu’s Old Town, you can explore the Venetian fortress and wander through the winding streets leading to the port, or head out into the countryside for a tour and tasting in the island’s olive groves.

To get to your next stop, you’ll step aboard a luxury catamaran from the hotel’s private pier, and venture out on an excursion, sailing around two of the Greek islands on route to the mainland.

The islands of Paxos and Antipaxos are renowned for their beauty, where you can jump into the clear waters, explore hidden caves and photograph the immense coastline and picturesque harbours.

After sailing across the Ionian Sea you’ll dock at the Elix, in Thesprotia on mainland Greece. Positioned opposite Corfu and amid pine forests perched above the award-winning Karavostasi Beach, this exceptional hotel has stunning views thanks to its unrivalled location.

Float in the infinity pool, SUP in the bay, or take a day trip to one of the nearby points of interest; like the bucket-list monastery of Meteora set on its famous cliff-top, or a private tour and tasting at a local winery.

Whether you choose to explore or chill, or alternate between the two, this seven-night Greek twin-centre packs plenty of opportunity for both into a week.

Itinerary

Upon arrival into Corfu Airport you will be met by a representative from your hotel, the luxurious MarBella, who will take you via private car to check-in for your four-night stay in a Double Room Garden View on a Premium All-Inclusive rate. With everything included from buffet breakfasts and ice creams by the pool, to your in-room mini-bar and à la carte evening meals, you can truly switch off and enjoy the extensive facilities. These include a freshwater pool, a saltwater pool with sea views, two beaches and a choice of watersports.
On the south-east coast of the island this award-winning hotel is in a prime position for exploring. During your stay you could punctuate relaxation by the pool and on the beach with day trips, like: a visit to Corfu Old Town to wander through the winding streets and see the UNESCO-listed Old Venetian Fortress; or taking an olive grove tour that includes a guided stroll through century-old groves encircling the Medieval Castle of Gardiki. Following a busy day of exploring you can head back to your hotel for a spa treatment with nature-inspired products. Then have dinner followed by cocktails and live music, or a movie with popcorn.
Parga, Greece
What is sure to be a highlight of your trip awaits today. After checking out, you’ll be taken directly from MarBella pier on a luxury catamaran transfer to Elix, on mainland Greece. On route you’ll experience a full day excursion to Paxos and Antipaxos, sailing on the Ionian Sea to these two beautiful Greek islands. On the rocky west coast of Paxos, a series of impressive caves are waiting to be explored, while the pristine waters tempt you to jump in for a swim, and don’t forget your camera to capture the pretty town of Gaios from the harbour. In Antipaxos, a place often compared to the Caribbean for its beauty, you can discover the white sand beaches and turquoise bays of this stunning Mediterranean island. Your catamaran will then sail on to Elix for your three-night stay in this 5-star coastal resort.
Perched above the shores of Karavostasi Beach, this Greek beach retreat is on a quiet stretch of coast surrounded by pine forests and with views of the islands you’ve just explored. Start the day with an espresso on your balcony, then after breakfast (this twin centre package includes half board), take a dip in the infinity pool. Spend your days paddle-boarding in the bay, or sun bathing on the sand, or explore the local area. Our Travel Specialists recommend a trip to the Acheron River in Epirus. Believed to be the ancient gates to the underworld, the experience involves swimming about a third of the way, followed by walking along forested riverbanks and pebble beaches, ending at the Acheron River springs in Glyki. Or how about a visit to the charming village of Metsovo followed by a private tour of a winery? Or a trip to the stunning UNESCO-listed Meteora, of James Bond fame.
A car will collect you for your private transfer from Elix to Aktion Airport in time for your return flight to the UK.
