On arrival at Cairns International Airport, transfer on to your flight to Lizard Island, a secluded luxury resort set right on the Great Barrier Reef. Your flight to the island is part of the experience and allows you to witness the true majesty and scale of the reef from the air. Enjoy a cocktail or chilled wine at the bar and decide which of the island’s 24 private beaches you are going to make your own tomorrow.

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast. Collect your deluxe picnic hamper from the Beach Club and steer your motor dinghy to a private beach. Return to your island accommodation before pre-dinner drinks at Driftwood Bar and Wine Cellar. Dinner is served at Salt Water Restaurant, or at an additional charge you can enjoy a private sunset beachside seven-course degustation menu.

There is always a new adventure for you to discover on Lizard Island, whether on land or the water. Navigate Anchor Bay on a paddle board or explore the reefs and marine life in a glass bottom sea kayak. Dine amongst the dunes listening to the nocturnal sounds of the desert during your four-course dinner.
Discover Kata Tjuta, 36 dome-shaped rock formations on a walk through Walpa Gorge. Travel across the desert to Uluru, and take a guided walk along part of Uluru’s base, learning about the Mala people’s history and viewing cave paintings along the way. Take the Mala Walk to Kantju Gorge at dusk to witness the walls ablaze with colour as the sun sets. Dinner is served at Longitude 131°.

Take an intimate Long Lunch Cruise on Sydney's spectacular Harbour. Sail around bays and coves and past palatial waterfront mansions on Sydney’s beautiful harbour and take in the sights of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Disembark at Watsons Bay for your entree before continuing your cruise to Balmoral for the main course. Private tours of Sydney Opera House provide the opportunity to go back stage and optional guided tours showcase the Southern Highlands with their historic towns or head north to the wineries of Hunter Valley.

For the more active and adventurous, embark on a guided hike up Mount Gower. This challenging 8-hour trek rewards you with breathtaking views of the island and surrounding ocean. Take a refreshing swim at Bliny Beach before Capella's daily ritual of drinks and canapes on Gower's Terrace as the sun dips below the horizon.

Explore Lord Howe's pristine corals and diverse marine life on an optional glass-bottom boat tour to North Bay where you often see green turtles graze on the local seagrasses.
