Thailand is one of Southeast Asia’s best destinations for an active family holiday. The list of activities and adventures is endless for families of all sizes and ages. Our “Thailand for Families” holiday includes cultural experiences, wildlife encounters and jungle adventures.

Get your cultural fix in Bangkok with a tour of the majestic Grand Palace and longtail boat adventure along the city’s busy canals. Interact with elephants and trek through the jungle at Elephant Hills followed by either relaxation or sports galore at Santiburi Resort, Koh Samui. Don your snorkel gear and explore the underwater world and corals of Ang Thong National Marine Park.

 

Itinerary

On arrival in Bangkok you will be met by one of our destination representatives and assisted to your waiting private transfer. Your guide will escort you to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
After breakfast at your hotel you will be met by your guide for your half day tour. Marvel at the grandeur and intricate craftsmanship at Bangkok’s majestic Grand Palace, followed by an exhilarating long tail boat ride through the klongs (canals) of Bangkok.
After an early rise transfer to Bangkok Airport for a short flight to Surat Thani, you will be met by your guide for a two-hour scenic transfer to Elephant Hills. Your three-day Jungle Lake Safari starts with a night at the Elephant Camp. Here you will feed and interact with elephants and take a canoe safari down the Sok River, taking in the beauty of Khao Sok.
Breakfast is followed by a visit to a local market in Takhun and a sightseeing trip by traditional longtail boat on Cheow Larn Lake. You will be served lunch at Elephant Hills Floating Rainforest Camp which is where you spend your second night. You can enjoy exploring the lake by canoe or take a guided jungle trek through southern Thailand’s unique Rainforest environment.
This morning is spent exploring and spotting wildlife on a guided canoe safari, followed by lunch at the Rainforest camp before transferring to Donsak Pier in Surat Thani for your ferry crossing to Thailand’s second largest island, Koh Samui.
Santiburi Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s premier family resorts, offering a whole host of sports and water-based activities for all ages and a comprehensive children’s programme for those aged 4 – 12 years.

While the Kids are enjoying themselves at Panya & Yim’s Junior Camp the adults can enjoy chilling by the pool, playing tennis or golf, learning Muay Thai Boxing or indulging in body treatments at the spa.

Ang Thong National Marine Park
A great family adventure by speedboat. Head out to the fascinating Ang Thong National Marine Park for a day of snorkelling & kayaking in this extraordinarily breath-taking area of towering limestone mountains, hidden coves and beautiful corals.

Activities at the Junior Camp include anything from traditional Asian crafts such as Batik Painting and Origami, cookery classes or yoga. There are a variety of other activities that families can enjoy together such as sea kayaks, windsurfing and stand-up paddle boards or head to the sports center for a game of table tennis or volleyball.

Enjoy your final morning at Santiburi Resort before transferring to Koh Samui Airport for your flight departure.
