Not only does this tour travel to Rajasthan it also takes you the the most romantic monument in the world in the form of the Taj Mahal, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. In Rajasthan visit the stunning Ranthambore National park to search for the elusive tiger, followed by a visit to the colourful city of Jaipur, and the city of lakes, Udaipur; arguably the most romantic city in India and finally finishing in cosmopolitan Mumbai; it allows you to stay in the best hotels in the world to make your holiday that extra bit special and magical.

 

Itinerary

Fly from Heathrow to Delhi with Jet Airways on an overnight flight
Arrive in Delhi, greet and transfer to The Oberoi Hotel where you are assisted with check in, then the rest of the day is then at leisure to relax after your flight. Stay for two nights in Delhi.
Delhi is India's capital and a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis. In Old Delhi, you may visit the Jama Masjid- the Mosque of Friday, the greatest religious construction of Islam, Raj Ghat- where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and the Red Fort (from the outside)- the palace for Shahjahan's new capital. In New Delhi, you may visit the Qutab Minar- the tallest stone tower in India and Huyamayun's Tomb- an outstanding monument in Indo-Persian style.
Today you drive to Agra. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the luxurious Amarvilas for your overnight stay. Your private guided tour today will explore some of the best architectural wonders of the Mughal’s period including the massive yet elegant Agra Fort and the world famous Taj Mahal.
Drive to Ranthambore National Park , the former hunting ground of the Maharajahs of Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park by shared jeep / canter [subject to availability] to view the wildlife of Ranthambhore National Park - The Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1955 and as a National Park in 1980, seven years after the launch of Project Tiger. In 1984, the southern and northeast forests were declared as Sawai Man Singh and Kailadevi sanctuaries.
Today you will enjoy morning and evening game drives to search for the elusive Bengal Tigers and view the varied wildlife of the national park.
Morning at leisure then later drive to the Pink City of Jaipur (4 hours) spend two nights at The Oberoi Rajvilas. The rest of the day is then free to relax at this luxurious hotel.
Today enjoy a private guided tour of Jaipur visiting sights such as the Amber Fort, City Palace and the Royal Observatory which are just some of the sights you will see today. Amber Fort's ruins spread over the Aravalli hills today. The City Palace is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces. The Astronomical Observatory made by the Maharaja of Jaipur built in 1726, it is one of the five astronomical wonders built by Sawai Jai Singh.
Staying at   Oberoi Rajvilas
Udaipur
From Jaipur you will transfer by road to Udaipur where you will transfer to palatial Oberoi Udaivilas for your two night stay. The hotel is set on the shores of Lake Pichola where you will enjoy the amazing views of the City Palace.
Morning private guided sightseeing of Udaipur, visiting sights such as the City Palace and Jagdish Temple. Afternoon is then at leisure followed by a evening boat tour of the Lake Pichola and Jagdish temple. This was the capital of the old Mewar state and it was the only Rajput stronghold to uphold its Hindu allegiance in the face of Muslim invasion.
Morning transfer to airport to connect with your flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to The Oberoi Hotel.
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to London.
