A haven for snorkelling and diving, Thailand’s west coast offers dozens of picture-perfect beaches and islands to explore, each with its own characteristics. Whether you’re seeking a beach for just you and yours, or an active beach holiday full of water sports, the west coast has them all.

Our tailor-made Discover Thailand’s West Coast Beaches & Islands visits the lively island of Phuket with its dense forests, nature reserves and nightlife, and The Racha Islands with their crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and amazing stargazing. Visit the iconic Koh Phi Phi Islands, the backdrop for Leonardo Di Caprio’s movie “The Beach” and breathtaking Krabi, characterised by its craggy limestone cliffs and karst formations, mangrove forests and more than 75 miles of beautiful coastline.

There are plenty of optional excursions that can be included which will see you traversing the pristine Similan Islands, taking a longtail boat through Phang Nga Bay and visiting James Bond Island. You could even visit a hot spring spa on the riverbanks or island hop around four stunning islands and Phra Nga Cave in Krabi Province.

Day 1 Phuket Arrival

On arrival at Phuket, the “Pearl of the Andaman”, you will be met by one of our destination representatives and transferred to your beach hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy the beach and hotel amenities. Maybe start your holiday with a Stress Release or Thai Massage at the spa.

Day 2 Phuket

Begin your day with a relaxed breakfast at Dee Plee followed by a day of leisure, whether that is lazing by the pool all day or enjoying one of the optional experiences available from the resort. Master the unique martial art of Muay Thai Kickboxing, enjoy a step-by-step interactive Spice Spoons cooking class or join a complimentary Thai Language Class.

Day 3 Phuket

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and offers many attractions and activities for you to discover at your leisure. We have a selection of optional excursions available to showcase the region further such as a day tour by speedboat to the remote and idyllic Similan Islands, a haven for snorkelling and diving. Discover the outstanding natural beauty of Phang Nga Bay on our private tour, taking in the breath-taking views from Samet Nangshe Viewpoint and visiting the famed James Bond Island.

Day 4 Phuket to Ko Racha Yai

There is time for a relaxed breakfast this morning before your private transfer to Chalong Pier on Phuket’s south coast. From here you will take a 30–40-minute shared boat transfer to the Andaman Island of Ko Racha Yai (Private speedboat transfer available at additional cost), on arrival you will check-in to the exquisite Racha resort. Soak up your luxurious surroundings and take in the views of the expansive white-sand crescent bay with azure waters.

Day 5 Ko Racha Yai

The Racha evokes a sense of tropical calm, somewhere that you can laze on your private terrace, enjoy a relaxing late breakfast, and soak up the sunshine by the pool. For those more active, the resort offers a host of amenities, land, and water sports and experiences. Complimentary services include daily Yoga classes, tennis, saunas, and self-guided island walks.

Another blissful day at The Racha. Take a refreshing dip in the ozonated main pool or grab a snorkel and explore the corals and underwater world at Batok Bay or Ter Bay. Complimentary mountain bikes, kayaks* and body boards* are available for you to explore the island and bay (*complimentary for first hour), while sunset cruises and boat charters are available at a charge.

Day 7 Ko Racha Yai to Koh Phi Phi

After breakfast you will transfer by boat back to Chalong Pier on Phuket, from where you will transfer across the island to Royal Phuket Marina for your shared boat transfer to Saii Phi Phi Island Village (private speedboat transfer available at additional cost) on the magnificent Phi Phi Islands. SAii Phi Phi Island Village offers a number of individually set bungalows each neatly camouflaged in the natural environment and offering gentle sea breezes and views across the beach or gardens.

Day 8 Koh Phi Phi

Saii Phi Phi Village offers a range of amenities including resort swimming pool, Snap Snack Bar where you can pick out treats from a complimentary collection of healthy, family-friendly snacks and bean/Co which offers craft coffee, speciality teas and signature ice-creams. Divers can enjoy some of Thailand’s finest dive sites with the resort’s own dive centre. Island tours to some of the more remote bays are available by speedboat or longtail boat as well as tours to neighbouring islands such as Mosquito and Bamboo Islands.

Day 9 Koh Phi Phi

Another dreamy day on the tropical Koh Phi Phi. Make use of the complimentary kayaks, yoga, TRX exercises, tennis, and kayaks and enjoy the resort's 800-metre stretch of secluded beachfront. Check out the resort’s Marine Discovery Centre, the first of its kind in Thailand, the Centre aims to educate and inspire both the local community and resort guests on how we can all make a huge difference to the environment. Other activities to keep you busy include Thai cooking classes, fruit carving, paddle boards, mangrove sea kayaking, snorkelling and big game fishing.

Depart by shared schedule boat service (private speedboat transfer available at additional cost). On your arrival at Krabi you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Krabi’s dramatic coastline is characterised by towering limestone cliffs and karsts and hundreds of idyllic offshore islands. Check-in to your hotel and enjoy the reminder of your day at leisure.

Day 11 Krabi

You may choose to enjoy your tropical surroundings and relax by the pool or at the beach, or you may wish to explore the region further on one of our Krabi experiences. Maybe enjoy a unique day spa in the lush tropical rainforests on the banks of Khlong Tom River, including a healthy Thai lunch or discover the Sea Caves of Ao Luk by canoe.

Enjoy day of relaxation or head in to bustling Krabi Town for shopping, there is no shortage of gift and trinket shops and restaurants. A selection of optional tours is available including the popular four island trip by speedboat, island-hopping between Chicken Island, Poda Island, Tup Island and the spectacular Phra Nang Cave Beach.
