Itinerary

Once you arrive in Bangkok, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Relax in your peaceful resort or step out and experience the hustle and bustle of Thailand's capital city.

A whole day to explore this captivating city. Your first stop will be the Royal Grand Palace, before heading to Wat Pho to admire the famous Buddha statue. Cruise along Chao Phraya River in a long-tail boat, stopping for a photo opportunity at Wat Arun. Spend the evening wandering through the city’s Chinatown.
This morning transfer by air from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Chiang Mai, where you will be transferred to Anantara Chiang Mai Resort & Spa for a three-night stay. Next to the Mae Ping River, the hotel offers spacious rooms and a breathtaking swimming pool.
Head south out of Chiang Mai and visit the home of a local family. You will experience the simple Lanna way of life, explore the family's orchard and organic gardens which are filled with many types of fruit and herbs for cooking. You will have the opportunity to cook with the family and enjoy a traditional Thai and Lanna style meal in their delightful home.
Hop aboard an electric Tuk-Tuk to ride around Chiang Mai Old Town on a cultural and tasty journey. Stop at some of the city's cultural sites and lesser visited but no less impressive temples. Browse local markets and try some of the unique snacks and northern Thai dishes on offer. Dare yourself and taste fried insects!
Fly to Phuket from Chiang Mai Airport. Upon arrival you will be transferred to SALA Phuket Resort & Spa to check-in for your five-night stay.
The Blue Elephant Cooking School invites you to discover the local cuisine. The cooking school has fully equipped facilities offering you the chance to practice your Thai cooking techniques. Visit the local market to choose your ingredients and learn how to master 4 or 5 courses which you will feast on as a well-earned lunch.
Take a tour of Phuket Old Town and discover the beautiful Sino-Portuguese architecture and sample some delicious street food. Try a typical southern style roti, watch how they make Cha Chuk, a Thai iced milk tea which is "pulled" in a fascinating process. Visit the Thai Hua museum and learn about Phuket's tin-mining history. End with a yummy lunch at one of the local restaurants.
A day at leisure for you to discover more of Phuket. Head to the beach, indulge in more food, or relax at your hotel’s sumptuous spa.
Another day to explore as you wish. Head north of Phuket to discover dense jungle, amazing wildlife and fascinating parks. Keep your camera handy as you pass cascading waterfalls and visit local craftspeople.
Spend the morning relaxing at your hotel, before heading to the airport. If you’re hungry for more, ask your Travel Specialist about extending your Far East Adventure; otherwise head home with a full stomach and a whole new collection of recipes to recreate at home.
