Make Ellerman House, Duba Plains Camp, and Selinda Camp your opulent abodes on this immersive wildlife adventure across South Africa. On your travels, you can meet penguins at Boulders Beach in Cape Town, and soak up the stunning views of Table Mountain. You can take horse riding safaris through untouched grasslands and watch the endangered African wild dogs sprint across the plains.

Follow all this magic with a visit to Zimbabwe’s famed Victoria Falls. Upon your arrival at a luxurious lodge near the river by the waterfall, your days unfold with exciting exploration in the Game Reserve. Engage in bush walks and safari tours to encounter the Big Five traversing the plains and witness magnificent birds of prey soaring above. In the evenings, gather with your loved ones around the crackling fireplace for shared moments of indulgent comfort.

Itinerary

Transfer from Cape Town International to Ellerman House. Check in to the hotel for a luxury stay at Ellerman House for four nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, tasting the kitchen’s delicious gourmet food, browsing the Ellerman House Art Gallery, or relaxing in the spa.
Spend the next three days making the most of all the incredible offerings at Ellerman House and partaking in some optional activities. Take an art of the property, work out in the gym, and enjoy a small wine tasting every afternoon with the hotel sommelier.
Enjoy a scheduled transfer to Cape Town International for your flight to Muan. At Muan, take your scheduled flight from Muan to Duba Plains, where the beautiful Duba Plains Camp awaits to host your three-night stay.
Duba Plains Camp resides in the heart of the Okavango Delta, on a 33,000-hectare private concession that showcases the region’s most stunning natural landscapes. Choose from five bespoke suites at the camp, or the two-bedroom Duba Plains Suite, which is perfect for couples. Each suite has a lounge, a private verandah, a private plunge pool, and an outdoor covered sala. Plus, all suites are entitled to a private game drive vehicle, and a private butler and chef. Spend your days immersed in the scenery, with game drives, night drives, helicopter flights over the plains, boating, walking safaris, and fishing.
Spend a morning at leisure at Duba Plains before flying over to Selinda Camp for a three-night stay. Arrive in time for a light lunch or afternoon tea followed by an afternoon activity.
Set in northern Botswana, well off the beaten track, the Selinda Reserve is a 130,000 hectare private wildlife reserve promising you plenty of exclusive wildlife sightings. Expect to see a variety of species across the many habitats. On your safari tours, you might spot rare roan, antelopes, African wild dogs, lions, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and large elephant herds. Keep your eyes on the skies for the numerous bird species soaring over the plains, too. During your stay, you can enjoy canoe safaris, guided bush walks and 4X4 game drives.
Take your scheduled flight to Kasane, followed by your scheduled transfer from Kasane to Victoria Falls River Lodge for a two-night stay. The rest of the day will be determined by your arrival time, but you should arrive at the lodge in time for afternoon tea followed by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
Situated along the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls River Lodge offers a range of accommodations, including 2 Private Luxury Villas, 19 Luxury Tented Suites with private decks and plunge pools, and 6 secluded Island Treehouse Suites nestled in treetops on Kandahar Island. The lodge features spacious dining, lounge, and bar areas, an onsite fitness centre, and the luxurious Toa Spa. It provides an ideal base for exploring Victoria Falls and offers diverse experiences for adventure seekers, families, and honeymooners alike. At 1600hr on this day, you’ll be indulged with the incredible Bushtracks Express dinner experience.
After breakfast, check out for the transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your connecting flight home.
