Full accommodation information

Right in the heart of Cuzco, Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco is a luxurious hotel ideally located beside the bustling central square.

The building itself is a former monastery and national monument, dating from 1592 and originally the site of an Incan palace. Now a captivating Belmond hotel, it combines centuries-old charm and ambience with luxury service, inspired restaurants and boutique rooms and suites. Oxygen is available in some rooms to combat the effects of altitude.

The hotel’s central location makes it a perfect base from which to explore the sights and delights of Cuzco. Immediately outside the Monasterio discover a unique blend of old and modern architecture, charming markets and galleries alongside innovative restaurants, such as MAP Café, serving ‘new Andean’ cuisine. Alternatively, indulge in a sumptuous dinner at the Monasterio’s El Tupay Restaurant.

Three nights a week, the romantic arches of El Tupay are filled with the melodic harmonies of Cuzco’s best tenor and soprano voices.
