Say ‘Aloha’ to the luxurious Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, situated in the north-west of Hawaii, the Big Island. The Mauna Lani is the perfect way to experience authentic Hawaii; with five mountains surrounding the resort, and the beach not even a stone's throw away, you can immerse yourself in water sports and indulgent spa treatments or, play a round of golf at one of the world’s most photographed over-the-ocean holes.
Pure relaxation awaits at this hotel. You can start your morning with an ocean swim, as the sun rises over Mauna Kea, and end your day watching the stunning sunset with a cocktail along the beach or by the fire pits.
Mauna Lani is also an incredible resort to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary, with a whole host of wonderful activities and amenities for couples. Some highlights include a Champagne welcome in your room on arrival, the serene adult pool set among the ancient royal fishponds and several water sports activities that can be enjoyed together, including paddle boarding and snorkelling. For a romantic evening, listen to the waves lapping the shore with a private dinner under the stars, as you dip your toes into the sand.
For keeping active, the resort has its own private water sports facility on site. Kainalu offers daily programmes, so you don't need to leave the hotel to enjoy the Hawaiian waters. Adventure into the water for scuba diving, outrigger canoeing and paddleboarding.
Each day of your stay at the hotel can be enjoyed with numerous activities or simply by enjoying relaxation time at the tranquil beach and pools. If you’d like to learn about the area and get a more detailed look at life on the Big Island, visit Hale'I'ike, the cultural centre located within the hotel. From here, you can join activities including Petroglyph hikes, lei making, historical walking tours and the Malama Honu Turtle Programme.
Stays at Mauna Lani are all about relaxing and centring yourself. One of the best ways is to keep up with your fitness goals, healthy eating, and self-care. The resort's wellness centre and fitness facilities are well placed to help you reach your goals, even when you're on holiday. The spa and fitness centre are open 24-hours and day, and you'll have access to personal trainers, Peloton bikes and a dedicated gym with weights and cardio machines. Afterwards, spend some downtime at the spa with a GOOP facial.
One of the other magnificent highlights of the resorts is the two 18-hole golf courses. Experience challenging layouts with lava rock and Kiawe forests on the North Course and follow in the footsteps of golfing greats on the South Course. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset golf tour led by one of the Mauna Lani golf team, taking you to some of the prettiest spots on the course.
