Enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling farmland and quiet harbours scattered along Green Gables Shore. En route, admire the staple sights of Atlantic Canada's charming coastline, from fishing villages to white-walled lighthouses and the powdery sands of Cavendish Beach. Literature lovers will love to wander through the 19th century Green Gables House, the muse of L.M. Montgomery’s renowned novel, Anne of Green Gables. Follow this with a stop at Prince Edward Island Preserve Company for hearty cuisine and sweet treats made from locally grown fruit. This four-hour tour runs throughout the summer and can be extended to a full day to include  lunch at a local restaurant and peruse various galleries full of fine Canadian crafts, pottery, artwork and gardens. The tour ends in Charlottetown with photo opportunities at Dalvay by the Sea and Covehead Lighthouse.
