The Queen’s Landing is a grand mansion on the edge of Niagara River, graced with stately white columns and Venetian windows that signal yet more timeless treats inside – a gorgeous lobby, sweeping staircase and polished floors, punctuated with refined antiques and fresh flowers.

Once inside this serene space – where chandeliers twinkle overhead – you’re likely to be tempted to stop for a meal at Tiara Restaurant, which comes complete with panoramas of the Yacht Club and harbour waters. Select a dish from the extensive menu, brimming with French and Canadian fare prepared using locally-sourced ingredients, best paired with a crisp white or velvety red wine. An ornate stained-glass ceiling, tall windows, and white columns to match the tablecloths – this is fine dining in Canada at its best. Queen’s Landing also serves delicious bites at the Bacchus Lounge, a place of soft leather sofas, dark wood panelling and more stained glass – there’s even a fireplace to set the mood.

Aside from the fabulous feasting and drinking offered at the hotel, Queen’s Landing is a place of gentle respite, what with its tranquil indoor pool encased in a glass house next to leafy, flowering gardens. In addition to this is a gym, fitness classes, and access to Queen’s Landing’s sister hotels and their activities/facilities – a complimentary shuttle service will take you there. Otherwise, simply pull up a seat on the al fresco patio, order a cocktail from one of the smiling wait staff and watch the comings and goings of the harbour; heavenly.

Traditional Guestroom

Victoria/Royal Suite

These roomy suites are extra large in size, with upscale furnishings and a king-size bed for utmost comfort. There’s also a Jacuzzi big enough for two and a warming fireplace to round it all off.

Admiral/Sovereign Suite

Sleeps: 4 Adults

Top of the range, the Admiral and Sovereign Suites flaunt hardwood floors, fireplaces, jetted tubs, separate living areas and two bedrooms. They are housed in the Dockmaster House, right next to the hotel.
