Cruise along the Newfoundland coast to spot the region’s finest wildlife. During summer, the area becomes a feeding ground for whales, and with this one-and-a-half-hour catamaran tour, you'll be able to see them yourself. Watch out for icebergs and wave to breaching humpback, minke and fin whales on your way towards Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, where over 500,000 puffins line the shores. Packed with 2.5million seabirds, this reserve offers a world-class opportunity for wildlife lovers to see unique species in their natural habitat. There are plenty of photo opportunities across the cruise too, so you can take memories of your special sightings back home.
Puffins arrive early May and can be viewed in large numbers through till mid September, while Whale encounters typically peak mid-June through to mid-August and Iceberg season around the St. John’s area typically runs May through to mid/late June.
This tour starts and finishes in Bay Bulls, 30 minutes from St. Johns, Newfoundland.
