Embark on a unique experience, dashing through the snowy Canadian Rockies on a sled pulled by dogs. This dream-like activity is an unforgettable way to see the alpine-enveloped valley. Cosy up under a fur blanket gazing at the Canadian scenery, and if you’re brave enough, take a brief lesson beforehand to drive your own team of dogs. One experience to take is 'Moonshiners', a sled pulled by dogs through the undisturbed winter land, followed by a trail-side lunch and hot apple cider by the campfire. Alternatively, you can enjoy the '60-Minute Musher'; perfect for families, take a brief dog driving lesson before heading off in your sleigh, stopping for light bites and hot beverages.
Wear your warmest winter clothing as this experience will have you gliding through the cold mountain air. To get to the Sundogs Tour Transportation base, you’ll drive through Yellowhead Pass, a scenic area filled with lakes and mountain backdrops to kick start your experience in the best way. It's approximately a 90-minute journey from Jasper, so please be prepared to self-drive through rocky winter conditions.
