Hotel information
A firm favourite for those in the know, The Post Hotel & Spa is a rare example of all elements involved in creating a world-class retreat coming blissfully together in one go.
The setting could not be more picturesque, tucked away amidst the snow-dusted mountains of the Canadian Rockies, on the shores of Lake Louise and surrounded by scattered pine forest and streams. This is then backed up by no shortage of luxury, creature comforts, expert guiding and some of the best gourmet cuisine anywhere in the world.
Here, the surrounding landscapes are as dramatic and untouched as they come, as irresistible hiking trails lead between native trees and jagged peaks, past gushing rivers and serene lakeside spots, while back home in the hotel it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with what is on offer there. The Post holds one of Canada’s largest wine cellars with over 25,000 bottles, boasts inspirational fine dining, endless therapies, treatments and massage techniques at the onsite spa and superb suites, all set around sink-in sofas and roaring fireplaces.
When you do take yourself away from the property and its views, however, there are also year-round outdoor activities to be enjoyed, from hiking, biking, rafting and rock climbing during the summer months to skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobile and sledging tours in winter.
This, as well as impossibly attentive service and first-class facilities throughout, place the Post Hotel & Spa somewhat in a league of its own.
Room Options
Unsurprisingly, there are no substandard accommodation options at the Post Hotel & Spa, the only decisions to be made are regarding your preferred budget, view and necessary size of living quarters - depending on your group size, of course. All are decorated in an upmarket log cabin style, with the essential fireplace, cosy armchairs and modest, low-key comforts coming as standard.
