The Grotto Canyon Icewalk explores a natural phenomenon and offers a unique winter hike, taking you over a frozen creek bed and through a narrow canyon with rock formations, as well as iced-over waterfalls.
See some of the world’s most unusual sights, from ice sculptures formed by icefalls to the ice climbers scaling them! Your expert will pinpoint the unknown areas of ancient native pictographs, as well as the stunted pine forest, likely created by Hopi visitors from the Amazon region. Check out the symbols and see if you can decipher the many different meanings, while learning more about the First Nations history.
Enjoy some hot chocolate during your tour, paired with some famed Canadian maple cookies. And don’t worry if you’re not equipped for icewalks — you’ll be provided with everything you need!
