Guests can find the perfect spot to unwind on the two-mile stretch of private beach. Or the more intrepid can explore the local area with visits to the souks in the old city, the Grand Mosque and the restored ancient forts, all a short drive away.
The Palace was originally built to accommodate visiting heads of state and the high levels of service and comfort given to those rulers are still displayed to all its guests. All 250 rooms and suites are furnished to a high standard, mixing Arabian décor with contemporary fixtures, and all have their own private balcony with many also having spectacular views over the Gulf of Oman. For dining, Al Bustan Palace has four restaurants, serving a variety of international cuisine from all over the world to satisfy the most discerning palate.
