Hotel information
Built over 165 years ago, Kulm Hotel St Moritz stands in stately grandeur over St Moritz Lake as a pillar of the region’s rich history. Expect five-star treatment from this exceptional hotel all year round. Find gourmet dining, mesmerising mountain views and exquisite accommodation, all just a short ride away from the nearest ski-friendly Swiss mountains.
Kulm Hotel St Moritz is a sports lover's paradise, offering multiple ways to get active in the great outdoors, come snow or shine. Take to the slopes, trial an Olympic Bob Run (instructed by a professional) or, during summer wind your way around the 9-hole golf course. In the winter, St Moritz’s famous lake freezes over, allowing for exciting events such as snow polo and ice skating.
This hotel is a food-lovers' paradise, with an excellent range of dining options from Michelin-star and gastro-pub experiences to Peruvian street food-inspired restaurants. Spend your evenings in the warmth of a cosy wine and dine experience at any of the hotel’s multiple restaurants, including the Kulm Country Club, led by Michelin-starred chef, Mauro Colagreco. You can also warm up after a long day on the ice at the luxury Kulm spa; take a dip in the heated pool, steam baths or sauna, and then unwind with a facial, body or massage treatment, a great way to switch off before a satisfying sleep in your luxury suite.
Younger guests can enjoy an array of perks at Kulm Hotel, with the Wunderwald Kids' Club and the Very Important Kids programme (VIK). They’ll learn new skills with free ski and snow boarding lessons (for ages up to 12 years old), or free ice skating. Better still, a nanny service is available to supervise a kids’ dinner, when adults wish to take some time alone. Grab a cocktail or two at Sunny Bar or take a walk into St Moritz itself to discover its vibrant nightlife.
Room Options
Kulm Hotel has a total of 150 rooms and suites. Though they share the same sophisticated Bordeaux colour scheme of blue and grey, and graceful pinewood ceilings, they have some differences in type, size and style.

Activities & Entertainment
Winter Activities
Just a short journey away from the region’s four ski-friendly mountains, Kulm Hotel is primely located for fans of skiing. Rent equipment at the hotel or purchase from the Ski Shop, hop on a complementary shuttle to the ski lifts and then take to the famous slopes, with free entrance provided by your Ski Pass.
The snowy surface grounds other activities, too, such as: snowboarding, tobogganing, winter hiking, cresta running, trail running, ice sports and horse carriage rides.
Summer Activities
The end of the snow doesn’t mean the end of activities. Try hiking, mountain biking or mountaineering on the newly revealed landscape. There are various trails to follow to explore all that the region has to offer in depth.
Alternatively, you can get a little more competitive with a game of golf or tennis or make the most of the lakes with standup paddling, swimming, or simple bathing in the lakes.
Spa & Fitness room
No matter the season, the spa and fitness rooms will always be available for a de-stress session, whether you’re lifting weights or receiving a relaxing massage. You can even take advantage of both resources one after the other: a fifty-minute session Pilates class, followed by a Revival Body Scrub in the spa.
Family Facilities
Kulm Hotel caters to the whole family within its extensive itinerary, especially its little guests. The Kulm Kids Programme has been developed to provide children with a range of activities to keep them entertained, including treasure hunts, pizza-baking, mocktail mixing and so much more. Similarly, the Kids Sports Camp programme offers a timetable of sports activities for children to enjoy.
There are also various perks to being a child at Kulm Hotel. A few, specially selected treats come for free. For example, free ski and snowboarding lessons in winter (subject to availability), and free syrup, ice cream and hot chocolate in all hotel restaurants as a tasty reward after a long day on the slopes.
