Six Senses Crans Montana rests high above the Rhone Valley with sunlit, south-facing slopes with views of the majestic Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. Settle into your luxury stay in this modern, chalet -style retreat, where soothing spa treatments, relaxing rounds of golf and fine dining are just steps away.

A snow-sure holiday is guaranteed, with slopes located 2,000m above sea level, and with great intermediate level cruising ski runs available for keen skiers. The ski concierge team is always on-hand in the ski lounge, attending to all your ski-related needs. There’s plenty more to explore in the snow beyond the skiing facilities. Try the popular tobogganing route down from Arnouva to the Plaine Morte, which offers spectacular views across the Swiss Valais from its summit. Snack on popcorn with the family at the open air cinema and take a relaxing stroll through the Alpine gardens. Dog sledding is also an option!

Stay in one of the Terrace Rooms or Suites, authentic Swiss-style chalet retreats crafted from sustainable materials. Balcony views are a staple feature of each room, along with lavish furnishings, generous living areas and a bright, airy feel. Wind down before sleep with a soothing spa treatment or kick off your morning with a work out in the gym. In the evenings, visit one of the hotel’s four restaurants, offering delicious menus from Japanese-inspired delights to Swiss classics and poolside light bites.

When venturing beyond the hotel, there are two nearby towns to choose from. Opt for Crans or Montana, set either side of the peaceful Etang Grenon Lake, accessed via funicular railway from the valley town of Sierre. Spend a day or two exploring the sights in these mountain-lined areas, each with its own set of stunning views and diverse restaurants.

Sat slope-side, the hotel’s wonderful Terrace Rooms and Suites offer perfect balcony views across the Chetzeron Piste, along with a cosy interior for families to enjoy. The Swiss-chalet style retreats harnesses calm, serenity and contemporary minimalism for easy living.

Ski Facilities

Glide up to the ski slopes on Plaine Morte Glacier, a staggering 3,000m above sea level, or the carving descent down the Piste Nationale, the longest in the region. These are the hotel’s main skiing spots, up and running throughout the day. Before your snowy adventures, you can reside in the hotel’s piste-side lounge. Here the Ski Concierge will see to your every ski-related whim, covering ski storage, valet, and tuning services while you nurse a steaming hot chocolate. They will also help with ski rental, lift passes, ski school registration and apres ski activities. Massage therapists and biohack treatments are on hand to help you relax and restore after a session. Beginner skiers can arrange personalized lessons and programs with the ski school team.

Set with 9 treatment rooms, stretch pods, a yoga studio, a Finnish sauna, a rooftop pool and an indoor pool, and a lusciously green courtyard, it’s the best space to rest after a busy day on the slopes. Enjoy a separate spa for children and teenagers with age-appropriate treatments, along with a Biohack Recovery Lounge and an Alchemy Bar with a menu of tasty treats.

Beyond skiing, there are plenty of activities to try in this snow-covered haven. Try dog sledding in the winter months, open air cinema in the summer, or even paragliding if you’re feeling especially adventurous!
