Activities & Entertainment
Situated at the foot of the Grandvalira ski area, there are so many ways to enjoy the region’s snowy landscape.
Beyond the fabulous piste skiing in the Pyrenees mountains, you can also glide through Andorra’s frosty pine forests on a magical mushing expedition or set off on a snowshoeing trek by nightfall and watch sky fill up with stars. Experience the snow at speed on a thrilling snowmobile adventure or get behind the wheel of a car and navigate challenging ice driving courses.
If you want to soak up the local culture between ski sessions, pay a visit to the many Romanesque churches in the area. See the Church of Santa Coloma with its enchanting tower bell or walk over the medieval La Margineda Bridge; there are more than 50 historic monuments to discover in Andorra.
Alternatively, enjoy a fun and educational day off the slopes with a family trip to a museum. Andorra has the most museums per sq km in the world, second only to Vatican City. Discover the history of electricity production in Andorra at the Electricity Museum or look around the Motorcycle Museum – home to more than one hundred models spanning several time periods.
Finally, get the best views of the awe-inspiring Andorra scenery at one of many viewpoints in the area: Roc Dek Quer, Tibetan Bridge and Tristaina Solar Viewpoint.
