Full accommodation information

Located by the border of the Yala National Park, Cinnamon Wild is a superb game lodge home to 66 chalets.

Yala National Park stretches over 979 square kilometres of land and has one of the highest leopard densities in the whole world and is also inhabited by many mammals including big game.

Cinnamon Wild has 6 beach chalets and 60 jungle chalets decorated with vintage pieces and offering a rustic-chic feel. They are equipped with air-conditioning, a 32 inch LCD television, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, safe, complimentary toiletries, complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities, mini bar, telephone and hairdryer.

When guests are not out and about in the Yala National Park, relax by the freshwater swimming pool, restaurant or in one of the lounges including: the lounge bar, pool bar, courtesy lounge or observation deck lounge boasting 360-degree views where if you are lucky you might see a leopard! Bush dinners and picnic breakfasts can also be arranged for guests.

Aside from safari excursions with the resident naturalists, visitors to Cinnamon Wild may wish to spend their time going on nature treks, bird watching trails, turtle watching trails, mini night safaris, camping trips in the wild and enjoying after-dinner movies and wildlife slide shows.

Bird lovers could spot over 215 bird species and in-depth bird lectures take place at the lodge. Diving enthusiasts can go to the Great Basses near Kirinda, one of the richest dive sites in Sri Lanka, where you can swim with eagle rays, snappers, sharks and go through caves and shipwrecks! Exclusive to Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan sloth bear can also be spotted in the Yala National Park eating ants, termites and Palu berries.
