Offering a stylish stay with Galle’s many delights right on its doorstep, this charming boutique hotel is a fantastic option for those looking to explore the best of Sri Lanka.

Dating back to 1825, this striking building was once a printing press and later a school, the hotel now houses a selection restored of rooms and two heritage villas with three suites each, so there’s plenty of choice for travellers of all kinds.

Interiors are stunning, with exposed beams and polished hardwood flooring in the spacious main building and sleek modern interiors in the villa’s suites.

Guests here enjoy personal and friendly service and a superb location within Galle Fort. The inner central courtyard is shaded by beautiful frangipanis and is the perfect place to relax in the sun or enjoy an al fresco meal. This is also where you’ll find the lap pool – ideal for a quick refreshing dip after a day of exploring.

Set slightly apart from the main hotel, these luxury suites boast a sense of privacy and are perfect for groups/families. Each suite has a four-poster bed, a bathroom with bathtub and luxury furnishings. The building has a private sitting room with mini library and a private dining area.

54 Pedlar Street Suites (3 Suites)

Enjoying more privacy with a location across the street from the main hotel, Pedlars Wing is perfect for families travelling together – features include three suites, a mini-library, private sitting room and private dining area. Bedrooms offer a four-poster bed, sofa/chaise lounge and writing desk.
