Hotel information
Take in the sensational Indian Ocean views whilst indulging in a treatment in the outstanding spa, sampling the cocktails on Takamaka Terrace, or from your luxury villa, enjoying the 24-hour butler service.
You’ll be wowed by the exceptional service here, where each of the 86 villas boast private plunge pools and stunning ocean views.
If space is your thing, then the Panoramic Pool Villas here are certainly for you, with plenty of room including walk-in closets and large private terraces and unmatched views across the horizon.
Despite space though, this Raffles resort is small and intimate, making the service very personal.
The Raffles Spa features 12 spa treatment pavilions, including two spa suites fitted with steam showers, Japanese soaking tubs, and observation decks to enjoy vistas in absolute privacy.
The hotel can arrange picnics at the beach, in the garden or atop a granite boulder, a dinner on board a yacht, or a barbecue feast in-villa, in addition to the 24-hour in-room dining service.
Children will love the Sugar Palm Club, from tots to teens, including babysitting, sand castle building and movie screenings.
Restaurants combine a global offering for the tastebuds alongside local specialities, served with fine wines and exotic cocktails. Creole cooking or cocktail-making classes can also be arranged.
Activities & Entertainment
There’s plenty to choose from when it comes to dining at Raffles Praslin, Seychelles. At Losean Restaurant you can indulge in buffet breakfasts, buffet-style themed evenings, barbecues with live entertainment, and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with a distinctly Indian Ocean accent. Alternatively, the Curieuse Restaurant offers a scrumptious à la carte menu featuring Asian specialities.
Afternoons are spent by the Pool Restaurant & Bar, where delicious light meals are served in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy tropical cocktails, live entertainment, and rum and wine tasting evenings at the Danzil Lounge, the resort’s main bar, or savour some shisha at the rooftop Takamaka Terrace.
Creole cooking and cocktail classes are available if you want something a bit more hands-on, while sunset cruises with sushi and champagne can also be arranged.
Spend your days swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, walking, or simply doing nothing at all – the choice is yours. The award-winning Raffles Spa is the perfect place to unwind – in fact, it’s one of the finest spas in the Seychelles. Soak up stunning views of the Indian Ocean from the treatment rooms whilst being pampered to perfection – sound tempting?
An abundance of excursions can also be enjoyed, from exploring the magical prehistoric forest of Vallée de Mai to discovering the vibrant coral gardens of the Curieuse National Marine Park.
Sustainability Initiatives & Responsible Tourism
Raffles Praslin has completely eradicated all single-use plastics since 2019 to preserve the island. Now, with their water purification project introducing glass bottling to their property, the hotel has seen a positive outcome of energy usage and a wealthy reduction in plastic waste.
Across the resort, guests can use the buggies to get around, which run off hybrid power to reduce their carbon emissions. Plus, Raffles Praslin is home to tropical gardens, carefully planted to grow the native plant species including the endangered Coco de Mer palm.
