After you embark on Star Clipper, you’ll be exploring the gems of six different Caribbean Islands and their paradisial shores. Sail from Grenada’s tropical shores to the cultural fishing villages of Tobago and encounter the vibrant wildlife of the unspoilt national parks for the most unforgettable snorkelling experiences.

When you’re not swimming in the azure waters, explore the history of Saint-Pierre, Martinique along the way, finding the remains of old cathedrals and theatres from before the devastating eruption of Mount Pelée occurred. In St Lucia, wade through the lush gardens of the Diamond Falls and Mineral Baths, one of the oldest botanical gardens on the island.

Along the way, dine on the authentic, delicious Creole food, all created with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and paired perfectly with a traditional rum.

When you’re not exploring the islands, you’ll be sailing smoothly across the Caribbean Sea aboard the spacious Star Clipper, a ship embellished in antique prints and paintings, embodying the deep nautical tradition. Itinerary

Today, you’ll fly from the UK to Grenada, where you’ll enjoy a three-night pre-cruise stay.
After your pre-cruise stay, you’ll head to St George’s, Grenada, to board the Star Clipper where you’ll spend the next 11 nights. Spend the day settling into your ocean view stateroom and getting to know the ship’s luxuries.
Charlotteville is the first port of call on your journey. Spend the day exploring this hidden gem on the northeastern coast of Tobago. Nestled between the sweeping Caribbean Sea and the lush green hills of the island, this serene bay is the perfect place to walk barefoot along the golden sands, meet the locals and immerse in the laid-back charm of the fishing village.
Lose yourself in authentic Caribbean living on this pristine bay. Enjoy a day of wild swimming, snorkelling in the turquoise waters and sunbathing on the sandy shore. Be sure to get to know the local life at the welcoming guest houses, and indulge in the delicious Creole cuisine.
Today, you’ll be exploring the paradisical Tobago Cays, a national park comprised of four unspoilt islets, all virtually deserted. Soak up the tranquil charm of the beaches, marvel at the incredible natural surroundings and be sure to snorkel amongst the vast schools of fish and other marine life.
Well-known for its powdery-white sands and dreamy blue waters, Paradise Beach is the perfect place to unwind. Take peaceful strolls along the shore or relax under the swaying palm trees. For the more adventurous travellers, why not partake in the myriad of watersports available, from snorkelling to paddleboarding, kayaking and more.
A hub of natural Caribbean beauty, this tropical bay offers a serene retreat between the lush foliage and the Caribbean Sea. Dine on Cannouan culinary delights after a day of swimming and losing yourself in the natural surroundings.
As the Star Clipper is likely to dock in the lee of Young Island, you can enjoy a scenic 10-minute ferry ride to the southern tip of St Vincent. Once on the island, you can explore the natural harbour of Port Elizabeth and enjoy a relaxing walk along the harbour.
Martinique
In Saint-Pierre, you’ll be taking a step back in time as you explore the historic remnants from before 1902, when Mount Pelée erupted. Find colonial ruins of the theatre and cathedral whilst exploring and end the day either on the waterfront or immersing in the bustle of markets.
St Lucia’s Soufriere is next on the list, where you’ll be enjoying time on the picturesque anchorage known for being the prettiest in the Caribbean. Be sure to head to the Diamond Falls and Mineral Baths, where the open gardens and sparkling pool await.
Next is Bridgetown, Barbados, home to red shores where the wind has brought sand from the Sahara Desert. Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this town and find influences of Britain from cricket to high tea and more.
Spend the day on the shore of Saline Bay, Mayreau after a night sailing from Barbados to Grenadines. This bay is the epitome of Caribbean utopia, where the crystal-clear waters wash up to the fine white sands and tree-swathed hills sit on the horizon. Enjoy endless watersporting, lounging on the sands or dine on delicious authentic food at nearby restaurants.
Finally, you’ll dock back at St George’s in Grenada. Disembark and take your transfer to the airport for your overnight flights back to the UK.
