Set sail aboard EXPLORA II and glide along the UAE coastline to Sur, Muscat, Khor Fakkan and Khasab in unparallelled luxury, each offering a unique glimpse into the region’s history and unique cultures. You'll explore Muscat’s spice-scented bazaars and centuries-old forts to dhow-building traditions in Sur and the dramatic fjords surrounding Khasab.

Fly from the UK to Dubai and take a private transfer to the Ritz-Carlton Dubai for a four-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis in a Deluxe Room.

Day 2-4 | 29-31 January 2027 | Dubai

Explore Dubai’s dazzling skyline, bustling souks and iconic landmarks, then return to the refined comfort of The Ritz-Carlton Dubai. Perhaps you’ll stroll its private beach, unwind in the spa, sip cocktails by the pool, or savour fine dining at one of its signature restaurants. Experience a sunset desert safari in the evening, drifting over golden dunes as the Arabian sky turns molten. Today you’ll embark EXPLORA II, your home for the next seven nights. Take time to settle into your Ocean Terrace Suite, with its private balcony overlooking Dubai’s glittering skyline. As the ship remains in port overnight, you can begin exploring its world-class facilities: from six exceptional restaurants offering everything from pan-Asian creations and Mediterranean classics to curated tasting menus to stylish lounges and bars that set the tone for evenings at sea.

Day 6 | 2nd February 2027 | Set Sail from Dubai

Enjoy another full day in Dubai before EXPLORA II sets sail this evening. You might spend the day indulging in last-minute shopping at the Mall of the Emirates, sailing across Dubai Creek in a traditional abra, or exploring the cultural quarter of Al Fahidi. Back onboard, gather on deck as the city lights shimmer behind you and your Arabian Gulf voyage begins.

Day 7 | 3rd February 2027 | At Sea

A day at sea is your opportunity to embrace Explora Journey's signature Ocean State of Mind. Choose from a rich programme of wellness activities, from yoga and meditation to spa rituals, or simply unwind beside one of the ship’s five heated pools. Culinary discovery continues with a choice of six restaurants, while wine tastings, art exhibitions and live music provide endless ways to enrich your time onboard.

Day 8 | 4th February 2027 | Sur, Oman

Arriving in Sur, discover a city steeped in maritime heritage and surrounded by natural beauty. Visit the traditional dhow shipyard, snorkel among turtles in turquoise waters, or venture into the Wahiba Sands desert for adventure among soaring dunes. Wadi Bani Khalid, with its emerald pools, offers an oasis-like escape, while the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve showcases Oman’s conservation efforts. Sur’s charm lies in its blend of culture, coastline and desert adventure.

Day 9 | 5th February 2027 | Muscat, Oman

Muscat, Oman

Muscat reveals authentic Arabia at its most captivating. Wander vibrant souks laden with silver jewellery, frankincense and handwoven textiles, or admire the grandeur of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. The Al Hajar Mountains tempt with hiking trails and off-road adventures, while Muscat’s coastline offers snorkelling and diving alongside rays and turtles. Day 10 | 6th February 2027 | Khor Fakkan, United Arab Emirates

Framed by the rugged Hajar Mountains, Khor Fakkan is a coastal haven for adventure and relaxation alike. Here you'll discover archaeological sites, swim in the waterfalls and pools of Wadi Wurayah, or cruise the coastline by dhow. Scuba dive among coral reefs, dine Bedouin-style on mountain-backed beaches, or try canyoning, paragliding and mountain biking for a dose of adrenaline. Day 11 | 7th February 2027 | Khasab, Oman

Khasab, Oman

At the northern tip of Oman, Khasab is known for its dramatic fjords, often called the “Norway of Arabia”. Cruise these spectacular inlets on a traditional dhow, spotting dolphins along the way, or climb into the mountains for sweeping views across the Strait of Hormuz. Explore historic forts, quiet souks and whitewashed mosques, or snorkel the warm waters around Telegraph Island. Remote yet rewarding, Khasab offers an understated Arabian escape.

Day 12 | 8th February 2027 | Fly Home

Arrive back in Dubai this morning. Disembark EXPLORA II and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK, bringing home memories of desert safaris, Omani fjords, and the refined luxury of your journey.
